In the summer sky, flying high
Bird of prey, bird of prey

Bird of prey, bird of prey
Gently pass on by, flying high

Flying high, flying high
Flying high, flying high
Take me on your flight
Flying high
Flying high
Bird of prey, bird of prey

In the summer sky, flying high
Bird of prey, bird of prey

Flying high, flying high
Flying high, flying high
Take me on your flight

Flying high, flying high
In the summer sky, flying high
The lyrics to "Bird of Prey," by Fatboy Slim and Jim Morrison of The Doors, describe a bird soaring high in the sky during the summer months. The bird is depicted as a "bird of prey," suggesting it could be a hawk, eagle, or other predatory bird with a keen eye and sharp talons. The repeated use of "flying high" conveys a sense of freedom and exhilaration, as if the bird is untethered and unrestricted, cruising effortlessly through the warm summer air.
The final lines of the song, "Take me on your flight / Flying high," suggest that the singer longs to be taken up in the sky with the bird, to experience that same sense of freedom and weightlessness. The overall tone of the lyrics is one of awe and reverence for the natural world, as well as a fascination with the majesty of birds of prey specifically.
Overall, the song's lyrics paint a vivid picture of the beauty and wonder of the natural world, and the sense of awe and wonder that it can inspire in us.

Re the ejection sequence was it real if so how done?
@Kurzula5150
@@enzodisciullo2557 Looks like a two seat ejection training cockpit. There are no flight controls, just the ejection handles. The seat is a Martin Baker 'zero-zero', which means it can operate at zero altitude and zero speed, so they would have been able to shoot this footage on the ground.
