I absolutely love this song. Ive always thought the lyrics that say: "I can see the light But just a sliver-"
I always thought / heard it as:
"I can see the love, its just a sliver, passion in my bones, its been a whisper, but you still move me like a river-"
Which is a treasured misheard lyric for me. Cause its almost impossible for me to fall for anyone, cause Im Demiromantic. And I can never seem to grow feelings of love or even a crush beyond friendship....
But Im... starting to feel something... so very small with the person Im with right now. Its a tiny but growing feeling that is developing on its own with a little nurturing. On its own at its own pace... very much like a river. Alot of these lyrics just give me that feel good feeling of hope. Makes me think of the treasured person who Im very lucky to have met. Who knows what the future will hold.
So thank you for such a amazing song. Even without the mishear... it means alot to me. And is still just as epic.
