Talking 'bout the Domino twist
Hey, let's do the twist

Big John and little sis
They all do the Domino twist

The rich folks and the poor
They all twisting on the floor
The rich folks and the poor
They all twisting on the floor

Big John and little sis
They all do the Domino twist

Hey hey hey
Oh, oh oh
Alright they gonna
Twist all night

Big John and little sis
They all do the Domino twist

Hey let's do the twist
I'm talking 'bout the Domino twist
Hey let's do the twist
Talking 'bout the Domino twist

Big John and little sis
They all do the Domino twist

Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Alright we gonna
Twist all night

Big John and little sis
They all do the Domino twist

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Fats Domino's "Dance With Mr. Domino" are a call for everyone to join in and do the "Domino twist." The song celebrates the joy of dancing and the universality of music. The opening line, "Hey, let's do the twist," is a nod to the popular dance craze of the time, and the repeated chorus of "Big John and little sis, they all do the Domino twist" reinforces the message of inclusivity.

The lyrics also suggest that money and social status do not matter when it comes to dancing. "The rich folks and the poor, they all twisting on the floor" implies that everyone is equal when they are dancing, and that the act of dancing itself is what matters most. The line "Hey hey hey, oh oh oh, alright they gonna twist all night" reinforces the idea that dancing is a way to let loose and have fun, and that it can be done by anyone, regardless of age or social standing.

Overall, "Dance With Mr. Domino" is a joyful celebration of dancing and the power of music to unite people from all walks of life.

I was so sad to hear that Antoine "Fats" Domino has passed away and left the world this morning. The pride of New Orleans Louisiana "Fats" who with his boogie-woogie bouncing piano style helped create and invent "Rock & Roll" back in the early and mid 50's. He inspired so many. Signed to the Imperial record label, "Fats" burst on the scene with "Ain't that a shame" in 1955 and the rest is Rock & Roll" history and selling millions of records through out the years! He was a true innovator, creator,  inventor and yes a PIONEER of "Rock & Roll". Absolute one of the first top 5 "Rock & Roll" Hall of fame inductees.Time or tide waits for no one, but its so sad that another legend has passed. I was lucky enough to see "Fats" close up and in concert a couple of times in NY back in the early &  mid-80's and he was great, Awesome as always. He stole the show! REST in PEACE "FATS "on Blueberry Hill and I thank you for ALL the music and memories you've given us.....Ain"t that a shame, Blueberry Hill, Blue Monday, Im Walkin', Josephine, I want to walk you home, Walking to New Orleans, I'm gonna be a wheel someday............RIP........."FATS".......
