I'm Ready
Fats Domino Lyrics
I'm ready, I'm willing and I'm able to rock and roll all night
I'm ready, I'm willing and I'm able to rock and roll all night
Come on pretty baby
We're gonna rock, we're gonna roll until the broad daylight
Because I'm ready, mmm
And I'm able, mmm
I'm willing and I'm able
So you'd better come and go with me
We're gonna rock and roll til tomorrow 'bout three
Talking on the phone is not my speed
Don't send me no letter, cause I can't read
Don't be long, cause I'll be gone
We'll go rock and rolling all night long
Cause I'm ready, I'm willing, and I'm able to rock and roll all night
I'm ready, I'm willing and I'm able to rock and roll all night
Come on pretty baby
We're gonna rock, we're gonna roll until tomorrow night

Well, I'm ready, I'm willin', and I'm able to rock and roll all night
I'm ready, I'm willin', and I'm able to rock and roll all night
Come on, pretty baby, we gonna rock, we gonna roll until the broad daylight
Because I'm ready, mm-mm-mm
And I'm able, mm-mm-mm
I'm willin' and I'm able so you better come and go with me

Fats Domino was one of the greatest pioneers of Rock 'N Roll! He deserves much more credit than he has received.

True. _- Antoine (Fats) Domino walked in to the nightclub where Elvis Presley was singing. Elvis said, "Here's the REAL King of Rock & Roll."
Paul Cadogan
I think he got the credit from everyone who matters: fans and musicians. I'm a musician and know a lot of people in the biz and never heard a bad word about him. We all loved him.
JB
Rest in Peace, Fats, you were the real King of Rock and Roll!

I can dig that. This classic rocker has it all. Tight drums, cool vocals, clapping, and that super job on the 88s.
