I'm bleeding but I'm alive
Despite the physical wounds that I have incurred, my existence is not compromised.

I'm breathing but I could die
My ability to inhale and exhale doesn't necessarily guarantee that I will continue to live.

I can't explain why I'm made this way,
I cannot justify nor clarify the cause or reason for the person that I am.

Tell me you see we are all the same,
Assure me that you perceive us all to be of equal value and significance despite our differences.

When I look at you, I see all of you, not just the outside
My gaze encompasses your inner and outer self, as opposed to merely being fixated on your physical appearance.

Some people stare like my eyes aren't there,
Certain individuals gaze at me fixedly, yet it appears that they aren't able to acknowledge my presence.

I hope you see a piece of you in me,
I wish that there is a part of yourself that you can identify with in me.

Because when we look into the mirror,
When we examine our own reflection,

Face could always be better, better better
we often think that our facial features could be enhanced further.

I think I thought about who is I was...
I am faced with the realization that I am not quite sure who my true self is.

Just the same!
Regardless of the discovery, I am still the same person.

But different!

Even with certain alterations in my character, I am still the same individual that I was when I was young.

Didn't like it!
It is clear that I am not satisfied nor content with my initial identity.

So I changed it!
Therefore, I made the decision to alter and transform my being.

Call me shapeshifter!
I can be called a shapeshifter due to the changes that I have undergone.

There's nothing stranger than a stranger,
An unfamiliar person can be the most curious and peculiar entity.

Strangely stranger than a stranger,
However, it is also possible for such a person to be even more inexplicable than the average stranger.

You frighten me with your fear of yourself
Your trepidation and anxiety regarding your own being instills worry and concern within me.

Isn't it fun knowing we are so small?
Ironically, isn't it enjoyable to be reminded of our own insignificance and finiteness?

I come around from time to time!
I make a sporadic appearance every so often.

Just a little taste of what's to come!
However, my brief presence is indicative of what is yet to come.

We must be efficient in removing the remnants of the old self in order to embrace the change and transformation.

I wish that you and I could easily blend into the surroundings like a chameleon, thus giving us the opportunity to revisit and revisit our earlier selves.
