In April 2009, a new lineup was announced with Cazares returning and Gene Hoglan as drummer. Bell and Stroud are both reprising their respective roles, and the band completed a seventh studio album entitled Mechanize. Former members Christian Olde Wolbers and Raymond Herrera (both currently playing in Arkaea) dispute the legitimacy of the new lineup, and a legal battle is underway from both parties. The band has performed at three Ozzfests as well as the inaugural Gigantour and has had singles in the US Mainstream Rock Top 40 and albums in the Billboard Top 40, 100, and 200. The band has sold more than 1 million albums in the US alone.

Repentance of sorts
Death comes naturally
Not from a hated war
Repentance
Repentance of faith
Repentance of hope
Repentance of hate
[Chorus]
Not my war
Soldiers marching on
Not my war
Soldiers marching on
On your feet!
Crisis at hand
On your feet soldier!
Crisis at hand
On your feet soldier!
On your feet motherfucker!
[Chorus]
Crisis
Crisis

[Chorus]

The lyrics of the song "Crisis" by Fear Factory express the artist's disdain for war and the consequential and inevitable loss of life that comes with it. The opening lyrics, "You that I despise, repentance of sorts, death comes naturally, not from a hated war" suggest a sense of anger and frustration towards war and perhaps those who support it.
The chorus, "Not my war, soldiers marching on" emphasizes that this is not a fight the artist is willing to fight, but rather it is being fought by others. The repetition of the word "crisis" in the latter half of the song further emphasizes the sense of urgency and fear associated with war.
The bridge, "On your feet! Crisis at hand! On your feet soldier! Crisis at hand! On your feet soldier! On your feet motherfucker!" displays a sense of frantic urgency and the need to be prepared and ready for whatever may come during the crisis.
Overall, the lyrics of "Crisis" by Fear Factory are a powerful commentary on the destructive nature of war and the devastating effects that come with it.
