Albanese’s compositions tend towards the airy and cinematic – blending classical, pop and psychedelic forms. He has collaborated with various filmmakers, scoring numerous documentaries, shorts and feature films.

Currently based in Berlin, Albanese released his debut solo album "The Houseboat and the Moon" on the Denovali Records label in February 2014. He also produced and arranged the debut solo album by his former collaborator J Moon (aka Jessica Eianudi).
