Un Lugar
Federico Aubele Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
La gente se ha ido ya.
Las luces de la gran ciudad
No brillan más.
Tan sólo un corto adiós
Ecos de voces distantes
Y el día que se va
Dejando todo aquello atrás
Y buscas un lugar,
Para descansar.
Un hombre sale de un bar,
Para y toma tiempo,
Para observar.
Mira y ríe,
Dos buenas razones,
Para continuar.
Y el día que se va
Dejando todo aquello atrás.
Y buscas un lugar,
Para descansar.
Y el día que se va
Dejando todo aquello atrás.
Y buscas un lugar,
Para descansar.
The people are already gone.
The people are already gone.
The lights of the big city,
Shine no more.
Just a short good-bye,
Echoes of distant voices.
You search for a place,
To rest.
A man leaves a bar,
Stops and takes his time,
To observe.
He looks around and smiles,
Two good reasons to go on.
And the day which slips away,
Leaving all of that behidn.
And you search for for a place,
To rest.
And the day which slips away,
Leaving all of that behidn.
And you search for for a place,
To rest.
The song "Un Lugar" by Federico Aubele is a soothing and reflective piece that highlights the theme of disassociation and the search for solace. The lyrics describe the emptiness of a post-nightlife city and the feeling of loneliness that it brings as the people leave and the lights fade. The singer is looking for a place of refuge to find peace and solace from the world that feels empty and uninviting.
The song also touches on the idea of self-discovery and self-realization. The man leaving the bar in the second verse seems to have experienced something that made him take his time to observe and reflect, and he found two good reasons to go on. The singer, therefore, decides to follow the same path, searching for a place where he can rest and reflect on life.
