Pink Lady
Feed Me Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
So first, uh, could, could you introduce yourselves?
My name is Stacey, and tonight I'm Laenette.
Laenette?
I'm Kelly but tonight I'm Christine.
And I'm Helen, and tonight I'm
Feed Me!
The lyrics of the song "Pink Lady" by Feed Me describe a playful and enjoyable night out with four women. The lyrics begin by introducing the group of women, each with a different name for the night, adding to the playful and flirty tone of the song. As the song progresses, the lyrics describe the atmosphere of the night out, using phrases such as "It's girly, it's fun, it's Tokyo!" to convey the energetic and vibrant atmosphere.
However, although the lyrics have a lighthearted tone, they also have a deeper meaning. The use of the name "Pink Lady" is significant, referring to the Japanese idol group of the same name. The group achieved massive popularity in Japan during the 1970s, representing a new era of glamorous and modern women. The name Pink Lady has become synonymous with fun and excitement, representing a carefree and enjoyable lifestyle. The lyrics of the song, therefore, not only describe a fun night out but also evoke the spirit of Pink Lady, celebrating female empowerment and individuality.
Overall, "Pink Lady" is a playful and upbeat song that both entertains and carries a deeper meaning. It celebrates the carefree and fun-loving spirit of women, allowing them to take control and enjoy life to the fullest.

I remember a friend and I got last minute tickets to go see Mord Fustang at the Fonda Theatre in L.A. When we got there we found out he was actually opening for Feed Me who neither of us had heard of at the time. Mord Fustang did a great set and we figured we would give Feed Me a chance since we payed for the tickets. This was the first song he played and we were instant fans. It was like a religious experience everything was perfect, the lights, the crowd, the energy, the huge monster smiling face set up he had. I'll never forget it. That was 5+ years ago and I still get goosebumps everytime I play this song.
