Feed Me Lyrics

Do you ever get the feeling
That you think you gonna die?
When your hearts immenent beating
Makes you wanna' cry.
When you feel you can't go on
With this sumbol life
Everytime you get close to the top
Crushing down from the sky
uhuuu
Crushing down from the sky
Crushing down from the sky
Do you ever get that feeling
When you think you gonna' die
When your hearts immenent beating
makes you wanna' cry
uhuuu
Do you ever feel that sinking
In your stomach to the floor
When your hands won't stop this shaking
And you cant take anymore
When everything you've lived for
Just walked out the door
Everytime you get close to the top
You fall crushing down from the sky
Crushing down from the sky
uhuuu
Crushing down from the sky
Crushing down from the sky
Do you ever feel that (sinking...)
In your stomach to the floor
When your hands won't stop this shaking
And you cant take anymore
uhuuu
The song "Strange Behaviour" by Feed Me explores feelings of uncertainty and fear of failure. The lyrics capture the sense of desperation and panic that can arise when someone believes they are about to lose everything they've worked for. The first stanza begins by asking if we ever get the feeling that we think we're going to die, which could be interpreted as either a physical or emotional sensation. The second stanza continues with physical symptoms of anxiety, like a sinking sensation in the stomach and uncontrollable shaking.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the repeated cycle of feeling like you're about to succeed, only to come crashing down from the sky. That feeling of falling can be incredibly demoralizing and can make it difficult to pick up the pieces and try again. These lyrics are relatable to anyone who has experienced failure, disappointment, or uncertainty. The repetition of the line "crushing down from the sky" throughout the song helps to emphasize how difficult it can be to pick oneself up after a perceived failure.
Overall, the song "Strange Behaviour" is a raw and emotional exploration of some of the darker parts of the human experience. The lyrics capture the intense feelings that can arise when we feel like we're about to lose everything we've worked for, and the repetitive chorus reinforces the cyclical nature of those feelings.

I know everyone appreciates the nostalgia this track brings from that era of dubstep, but I genuinely believe this is an astonishingly timeless, stand-out piece; far ahead of it's time among peers. The symbiosis and emotional depth between soundscape and vocals, the tempered and restrained sound design, not to mention the dynamic and unique rhythms in bass and percussion make it almost incomparable. Very rarely in EDM do you come across something heavy enough to imbue one with such kinetic energy while at the same time being so melancholic an emotional response can just as easily and even simultaneously be felt, at least back then

This is truly a standout track from an era of mediocre production quality and being as squelchy as possible, holds up so well.
