As of late he has performed with his own band, FEINSTEIN.
The latest lineup of the band also includes Jeff Howell (from Foghat and The Outlaws) on bass, as well as John West (of Artension and Royal Hunt) on vocals.
They released one album so far; "Third Wish" in 2003.
Their sound can be described as old school Hard Rock / Heavy Metal in the vein of Dio, Black Sabbath and Rainbow.
Feinstein's former band, THE RODS, are currently back in the studio and are due to release a new CD in late 2006 or early 2007.
Rebelution
Feinstein Lyrics

I’d see you joining with me, so strong
The winds of rebelution
Blow 'cross the mountains and seas
Destructive powers falling
Destructive powers fall to their knees
You and me
Let love lead the way
On their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
Black cross of heavy metal
Why follow when you can lead?
The force of rebelution
Just like the wind in the trees, so real
Destructive powers falling
Destructive powers fall to their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
On their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
Destructive powers fall to their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
On their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
On their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
On their knees
It's a rebelution
You and me
Let love lead the way
It's a rebelution
It's a rebelution
Let love lead the way
Feinstein's song "Rebelution" is a call to action for two people to join together in a movement of rebellion and love. The lyrics paint a picture of a future where the two of them have come together, strong and united against the "destructive powers" that wield so much influence in the world. The imagery of the "winds of rebelution" blowing across mountains and seas speaks to the power and scope of this movement, while the reference to the black cross of heavy metal suggests that it is a movement that challenges the status quo and defies convention.
The chorus repeats the phrase "It's a rebelution, you and me, let love lead the way," emphasizing the importance of love as the guiding force behind this movement. The lyrics suggest that love can be a revolutionary force in its own right, capable of toppling the destructive powers that would seek to divide and conquer.
