Eu chorava, te ouvindo no telefone
Eu chorava, te ouvindo no telefone
Eu chorava, te ouvindo no telefone
The lyrics of "Contigo Aprendí" by Felipe Pirela are a reflection on the consequences of not pursuing one's dreams, and allowing fear to stop you from expressing your true feelings. The repetitive use of "Eu chamava, eu chamava" ("I called, I called") and "Eu chorava" ("I cried") emphasizes the desperation felt by the singer as they try to connect with their loved one, but ultimately fail due to a lack of belief in their own desires. The line "Por falta de sonhos, o destino separou nós dois" ("For lack of dreams, destiny separated us") is a powerful statement that suggests that the inability to pursue one's dreams can have profound consequences on one's life.
The singer regrets not having been more open about their feelings, and not having believed in love as much as they should have. They acknowledge that they have left many things behind, and that they were not able to show their true emotions to the person they loved. However, they now understand the importance of valuing and expressing love, and hope to find it again with someone new.
"Contigo Aprendí" is a beautiful and emotional song that captures the heartbreak of lost love and the importance of following one's dreams to find happiness.
