Y ésa mujer vive conmigo queriendo a otro
Y ésa mujer vive conmigo queriendo a otro
The song "El Malquerido" by Felipe Pirela tells the story of a man who is deeply in love with a woman, but she does not return his affections. In fact, she actively dislikes him and chooses to be with another man instead. The singer of the song expresses his anguish, saying that if he could, he would erase her from his life completely, even though he knows that would mean erasing himself as well. He is tormented by the fact that he loves someone who does not love him, and that he is forced to live with her every day even though she despises him.
The lyrics convey a strong sense of sadness and longing, as the singer struggles to come to terms with his unrequited love. He knows that he cannot force the woman to love him, and yet he cannot bring himself to let her go either. It is clear that his obsession with her has taken over his life, and that he is trapped in a cycle of pain and frustration.
Overall, "El Malquerido" is a poignant and heartfelt song that speaks to the universal experience of unrequited love. Through its powerful lyrics and emotional melody, it captures the pain and longing that come with loving someone who cannot or will not love you back.
