2) Femme Fatale is an East York, Ontario-based band, and is the side project of Jesse F. Keeler, bassist of Death From Above 1979 and one-half of MSTRKRFT. Keeler writes and plays all the instruments, and sings all the vocals, although he used a seven-piece live band for touring. He says he will work on Femme Fatale as long as he is in the music business, that it's his "journal of life written into songs". To date, he has released three EPs under the name (Fire Baptism, 2002; As You Sow, So Shall You Reap, 2002; and From the Abundance of the Heart, the Mouth Speaks, 2004).

The band recorded material for a new album around 2000-2001, but the album was never released. However, Lewis hopes to have the 1988 album re-released soon, with tracks from the unreleased album as bonus tracks.
4) Femme Fatale is an electro-pop duo from Spain. Formed by singer and songwriter Flo and musician Dave Zorton, their music jumps between dark electro-rock and sparkly techno-pop, sometimes reminiscent of avant-garde "fashion" acts such as Fischerspooner, The Knife, Rinôçérôse or even Goldfrapp. This way, Femme Fatale gives off musical scenes of modernity and cosmopolitanism, of nights filled with robotic dances on high and shiny heels. After their debut, "1, 2, 3, 4" (EMI), vanished thanks to label problems inmediately after its release, the duo signed with Mushroom Pillow to release Femme Fatale in 2006. The album has a much more solid sound, vocals, and lyrics, which helped make the album one of the hits of the year in the Spanish indie scene. For more information, see their myspace.

Into Dust
Femme Fatale Lyrics

Trying to stay distracted
Past the dead eyes
Past the cold hands
I see the smoke in the air,
But further down the street,
I see a different picture,
Towers like Babylon,
Reach up and block out the sun,
This can't go on forever,
Soon it will all be gone,
I Know it's hard for you
It's all you've ever known
So much that you've collected
The wealth that you protected
Every brick, every page, every bone, into dust
Every block, every cage, every grave, into dust
Every screen, every glass, every wheel, into dust
I know it's hard for you,
It's all you've every known,
So much that you've protected
The wealth that you wrecked
Every brick, every page, every bone, into dust
Every block, every cage, every grave, into dust
Every screen, every glass, every wheel, into dust
The song "Into Dust" by Femme Fatale speaks to the destruction and decay present in modern society. The verses provide vivid imagery of driving through the city at night and seeing the aftermath of violence and destruction. The chorus then speaks to a larger sense of decay, acknowledging that everything we have and hold dear will eventually crumble to dust. The repetition of "every brick, every page, every bone" emphasizes this idea that nothing is immune to the passage of time.
The verses may also be speaking to societal apathy and desensitization to violence and destruction. The line "trying to stay distracted" suggests a desire to ignore the harsh realities of the world and instead focus on superficial things to numb the pain. However, the singer cannot escape the reality of the situation and is forced to confront it head-on.
Overall, "Into Dust" is a sobering reflection on the fragility of life and the impermanence of everything we hold dear.

Jesse F. Keeler told me himself. Everything he's ever written and played on a guitar is a full step down from standard. FF recordings are 3 guitar tracks. Two play different parts and one cycles between one or the other. The guitar he uses is an 80s les paul with no plates on the humbuckers. The amps are Marshall, cant remember the settings but it should be easy to figure out if you keep tweaking with it

I found the old post I had originally made for this:
https://www.facebook.com/notes/xango-ogun-nangwaya/femmefatale/302779276445358/
Back when he had a forum for mstrkrft and in general he would personally respond to all of us listeners there, I asked him some questions to which he answered :
Jesse F. Keeler :
"my tuning in everything ive ever done is DGCFAD.. the dfa79 stuff is just DGCF.
ff guitars were all my 89 les paul. nothin fancy. humbucker doesnt have a cap on it. going through my marshall jcm800 into a jcm800 4x12. treble and mid at 10, bass at 7, presence at 7, pre at 8 or 9. i bought that guitar with instalments of 11$ a month. i have lots of cool guitars, but that one still has some special thing about it that the others dont."
"all those records are 3 guitar tracks. 2 diff parts and one that cycles between doubling one or the other. they are all 16 track recordings.i know what i want to do for the next one but i just havnt had any time. i dont know of live footage that still exists."
