Losing My Ground
Fergie Lyrics
Don't know what day it is
What's going on?
Is this real?
No, no, no, no, no, no
I woke up short of breath
But I've still got a long day ahead of me
I don't know what day it is
But tell me 'cause I gotta know who to be
Is this me up in the mirror?
Well, it's a realization
When you find out you don't even wanna look at yourself
Where do I go?
What do I do?
Who do I turn to?
I'm losing my ground
Who am I now?
Where does it end?
How did it all begin?
I'm losing my ground
Well, I'm on my feet, it's time to hit the streets
And get my life back together again
Well, this place is all a masquerade
So tell me, where in line can I cut in?
Downtown, wandering aimlessly around
Still don't know what I'm tryin' to find
Well, you could flash all the pretty lights in front of me
I still wouldn't see the signs
Where do I go?
What do I do?
Who do I turn to?
I'm losing my ground
Who am I now?
Where does it end?
How did it all begin?
I'm losing my ground
Ground...
I'm losing my...
I'm losing my...
I'm losing my ground
(Losing my, losing my, losing my ground)
Where do I go?
What do I do?
Why do I do this to myself?
What do I do?
What do I do?
What do I do?
(Don't wanna go back there)
(Don't wanna go back there)
Where do I go?
What do I do?
Who do I turn to?
I'm losing my ground
Who am I now?
Where does it end?
How did it all begin?
I'm losing my ground
Ground
I'm losing my...
I'm losing my...
I'm losing my ground, oh

It was the first new song from Fergie as a lead artist to be released since the deluxe edition of The Dutchess in 2008.
In the Summer of 2006. Her debut single titled London Bridge quickly shot up to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She later released Fergalicious, Glamorous, Big Girls Don't Cry and Clumsy, all of which led on to become top 5 singles on the chart.
As a child, she appeared on the television program Kids Incorporated for several years with Renee Sands, who would become another member of Wild Orchid. Ferguson's well-scrubbed image on that show presents quite a contrast with the "ghetto-funk" image she has more recently begun to cultivate. Ferguson was the voice of Sally Brown in two Charlie Brown specials: It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown (1984), Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown (1985) and also voiced Sally in the 1985 version of "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show".
