Duerme, mi amor
Duerme tranquilo
The lyrics of Fernando Lima's Guardian Angel are a soothing lullaby sung to a child, assuring them of the comfort and protection offered by their guardian angel as they drift off to sleep. The song begins by repeating the phrase "sleep, my child" and "sleep, my love" in a calming tone, as the singer coaxes the child to relax and let go, allowing themselves to be transported into the world of dreams.
Throughout the song, the singer reassures the child that they will always be by their side, "century after century," watching over and protecting them. The lyrics emphasize the idea of peaceful rest, encouraging the child to let their worries fade away and simply surrender to the soothing embrace of sleep.
