By the beautiful light of madness in your eyes
Such a sweet revelation
And the darkest sensation on soul on soul
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul!
With heaven around me
Your ?? gets around me in your arms again
For once I was lost and
Somehow you found me and I was yours again
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul!
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul!
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul!
Soul on soul
Soul on soul
On soul!
The lyrics of Ferry Corsten's "Soul On Soul" depict a deeply emotional and passionate connection between two individuals. The singer is confessing to being completely captivated and blinded by the beautiful but intense madness in the eyes of his lover. It's as if he's acknowledging that the passion they share is so overwhelming and consuming that it has taken over his soul completely.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "soul on soul" several times, emphasizing the idea of this interconnectedness between two people. The singer finds himself lost in the sensations of the moment, feeling as though he is surrounded by heaven while wrapped in the arms of his lover. He expresses a sense of gratitude for having been found by his lover, having temporarily lost himself until they came back together.
Overall, the lyrics of "Soul On Soul" are a poignant exploration of the intense emotions experienced when two souls come together in a passionate bond. The powerful way the two individuals connect, and lose themselves in each other, is aptly captured by this song.
