Watch Out
Ferry Corsten Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I can't explain the way you make me feel
The only thing I know it feels g'damn real
Making me high is what it's all about
So woman, you better watch out
You better watch out! You better watch out!
I can't explain the way you make me feel
Making me high is what it's all about
So woman, you better watch out
You better watch out! You better watch out!
The lyrics to Ferry Corsten's song Watch Out convey the feelings of a man who is overwhelmed by intense emotions for a woman. He struggles to articulate exactly how she makes him feel, but he knows that her impact on him is profound and authentic. The refrain "you better watch out" could be interpreted as a warning to the woman that his feelings for her are so powerful that she might not be prepared to handle them.
The repetition of the phrase "I can't explain the way you make me feel" emphasizes the singer's sense of confusion and awe in the presence of this woman. Despite his inability to find the right words to express himself, he is convinced that the connection they share is something special and rare. He believes that she has the power to elevate him to new heights and that the passion they feel for one another is worth protecting. Overall, the lyrics to Watch Out are a heartfelt tribute to the intensity of romantic feelings and the impact that they can have on our lives.
