Exactly!! As a child not too many movies caught my attention.. And seeing him in the godfather already ik him but didn't really like these types of movies but this movie def held up.. Especially the beginning.. Now I love all Pacino movies,. Made me appreciate his acting more

I wouldn't be so quick to praise him. Tony Montana was also a loudmouth who had no respect or consideration for anyone. In the end it cost him his life after he crossed Sosa.

This immigration officer knows Tony lies out of his ears and is visibly annoyed by his charade. He didn't get a green card and would probably either be stuck in Freedom Town for a loooong time or get repatriated had Manny not had his friend in Miami get a job (which gave them a green card) for them.

Next time you apply for a job try that charade shit and see how far it'll get you.

Efrain891 What he bleeds is arrogance, an overinflated ego, and stupidity. It's one thing to not be a butt kisser and speak your mind but it's another to not know how and when to show the proper respect to people in certain positions. This "confidence" of his as you put it is what ultimately proves to be his undoing when he gets in trouble with Sosa after screwing up in New York. Sometimes it's best to just swallow your foolish pride and keep your mouth shut.
