Lyrics:

Laughing
Feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good

Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good

City's breaking down on a camel's back
They just have to go, 'cause they don't know wack
So while you fill the streets, it's appealing to see
You won't get out the county, 'cause you're bad and free

You got a new horizon, it's ephemeral style
A melancholy town where we never smile
And all I wanna hear is the message beep
My dreams, they got a kissing
'Cause I don't get sleep, no

Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is freely
Turned forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

Laughin' gas these hazmats, fast cats
Linin' 'em up like ass cracks
Play these ponies at the track
It's my chocolate attack

Shit, I'm steppin' in the heart of this here (yeah)
Care Bear rappin' in harder this year (yeah)
Watch me as I gravitate, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

Yo, we gon' ghost town this Motown
With yo' sound, you in the blink
Gon' bite the dust, can't fight with us
With yo' sound, you kill the Inc
So don't stop, get it, get it (get it)
Until you're cheddar headed
And watch the way I navigate
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good

Windmill, windmill for the land
Turn forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is ticking, falling down
Love forever, love is freely
Turned forever, you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?

Don't stop, get it, get it (sha, sha-ba-da)
Peep how your captain's in it (sha-ba-da-ca, feel good)
Steady, watch me navigate (sha, sha-ba-da)
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha (sha-ba-da-ca, feel good)

Don't stop, get it, get it (sha, sha-ba-da)
Peep how your captain's in it (sha-ba-da-ca, feel good)
Steady, watch me navigate (sha, sha-ba-da)
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha (sha-ba-da-ca, feel good)
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good
Sha, sha-ba-da, sha-ba-da-ca, feel good

In case anyone doesn't know, this song is a commentary on how some music industries tend to make many bands who work under them their slaves. They lose all freedom of choice and many of the music they end up playing is nothing like the music they wanted to play. The rappers are basically the music industries, taunting and gloating at how they control the Gorillaz and constantly overworking them to the point that they barely get any sleep. 2D is trying desperately to convince himself to feel good, but for everytime he looks outside where it's peaceful, it only hurts him even more. Murdoc and Russel have already given up and have given in.

Edit: Noodle represents the musicians who are not under a contract and play their music the way they want to play them. The freedom to do what you want to do.

You are right! I never saw this song that way but it is obvious!

@Lizzoncker

the lyrics make so much more sense knowing that u got that from that one guys video dident you

@namikare7701

im guessing thats why they said with your sound you kill the inc as in referring to 2d as he is the only one not giving up

How sad...

So this is what Prince was telling us. I also love De La Soul and how Hip Hop are portrayed into the captains of a form of oppression.

It’s really crazy to realize how popular this song really was. It’s been able to gain this many views being uploaded to Youtube this late in its lifespan
