A Day Is Coming
Fight The Fade Lyrics

You're living your dreams, but I'm allowed none
You bring your offerings, but I'm too late
To see the blessings you see, but that's about to change
A day is coming, when we will arise
It's already starting, to boil up inside
So strap on your armor, raise your shields to the sky
Do you feel the winds of change, swirling the clouds?
Truth is a tornado, tearing down your house...
A day is coming, when we will arise
It's already starting, to boil up inside
So strap on your armor, raise your shields to the sky
Because a day is coming, when your walls are set on fire
Do you feel it? Do you feel the winds?
Do you feel the fire? Do you feel the change?!
Can you feel the change?
A day is coming, when we will arise
It's already starting, to boil up inside
So strap on your armor, raise your shields to the sky
Because a day is coming, when your walls are set on fire
The lyrics to Fight The Fade's song A Day Is Coming speak to a person who feels oppressed and controlled by someone else. They feel like they are not allowed to pursue their own dreams and that they are always too late to receive the same blessings as the person they are addressing in the song. However, the song is also about hope and determination. The person being addressed in the song is warned that a day is coming when the oppressed will rise up and the walls they have built will be set on fire. The winds of change are already swirling and the truth is tearing down their house like a tornado.
These lyrics can be interpreted in many different ways, but one common understanding is that they are about standing up to injustice and taking control of one's own life. The oppressed person in the song is tired of being held back and is ready to take action. They are warning the person who has been controlling them that they will no longer be able to do so without consequences. The song is a call to arms for anyone who has ever felt like they were being held back by someone or something.
