Wolves Are Alive
Finist Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Darkness and fear - that's what I see
The moon is shining over trees
As the eye of eternity
Why many people turned to sheeps
And with prayers on their lips
They can say that they are free?

[Chorus:]
Yeah! From the darkness we'll rise
And we'll melt the ice
By the fire in our eyes
We'll bring the freedom again
In the churches' flame
We shall burn bastard's name

How all of you can be so blind
Or these bastards cleaned your mind?
Don't you know what's left behind?
Jews are ruling on our land
How you cannot understand
All our fate is in our hands?

[Chorus]

From the woods we'll return
As the firestorm
We will burn paradise
Soon gods will show us the way

And we'll proudly say
Wolves are really alive!

Overall Meaning

The song "Wolves Are Alive" by Finist is a dark and powerful track that focuses on the theme of rebellion against authority. The first verse begins with the singer proclaiming what he sees as darkness and fear, which is fitting given the overall tone of the song. The moon is the only light shining through the trees, setting an eerie and melancholy mood that is strengthened by the singer's delivery. The second line, "As the eye of eternity," is a nod to the idea that everything is cyclical and that even though the darkness may seem unending, things will eventually change. The next few lines are a rebuke of those who blindly follow authority, as the singer points out that people turn into "sheep" and believe they are free as long as they say their prayers.

The chorus is a call to action for those who have been living in darkness and fear. The singer promises that they will rise up and "melt the ice," using the fire in their eyes to bring freedom back to their land. The use of fire imagery is both a symbol of destruction and a symbol of rebirth, suggesting that in order for something new to grow, the old must first be burned down. The refrain "Wolves Are Alive" is powerful in its simplicity and emphasizes the idea that the people are not docile sheep, but fierce wolves who will fight for their freedom.

The second verse continues the theme of rebellion, pointing out that many people are blind to the truth about what is going on in their own country. The singer accuses those in power of brainwashing their citizens and concealing the real issues, such as the fact that Jews are ruling over them. The last two lines of the verse are a call to action, urging people to recognize the power they have to change their fate.

Overall, "Wolves Are Alive" is a song that speaks to the disenfranchised and those who feel oppressed. It is a call to rebellion, urging people to rise up and fight for their freedom. The powerful and intense lyrics are matched by the energetic and frenzied music, creating a track that is both cathartic and empowering.

I don't blame these amazing, powerful animals!
They are born in nature and this is their territory and they live to survive, devour and they kill!
People are not supposed to get too close to them
Animals are animals and there is a huge difference between animals and humans.
People understand animals don't understand.
Yes, there were cases where I was in the company of people who lived with dangerous animals, loved them, and photographed them for souvenirs, lions, cheetahs, tigers and more, very beautiful animals.
Although I really wanted to pet them, but I preferred to keep my distance and not get too close to them.
I have very good memories and hope to visit them again one day.

I read a story where a guy was invited to a wild life center that housed a orphaned cougar that now acted as an animal ambassador.
They used to take it to schools to educate kids....but stopped when the animal started eying the kids as it grew up.
Well, this guys buddy invites him INTO THE COUGAR ENCLOSURE to pet it.
Fun fact. Hunter regularly donated deer organs and doe heads and the cougar LOVED to eat deer head...crunchy crunchy, yummy yummy.
Well, The is is petting the cougar, and the cat starts to lick us arm in response....was raspy and hurt a little but he thought nothing of it.
Then, when he got distracted, the cougar suddenly grabbed his arm in it’s mouth, and started slowly squeezing the arm in his mouth.
His buddy was to busy talking to notice this sudden action.
Well, he compared the force of the cougars jaw on his arm like a slowly tightening vice grip.
He looked dead in the cougars eyes (probably saved him from loosing the arm) and swore the cat looked dead back as if to ask,
“So what are you gonna do about this? I got you.....”
He kept eye contact with the cougar, but calmly as possible told his buddy that the cougar was biting him....
His buddy promptly smacked the cougar on the nose with a loud “NO” and thankfully the cougar let go and backed off.
His arm was thankfully ok.....skin was barely broken but you could clearly see the imprint of the teeth.
He concluded his tale by saying after that day his respect for wild animals went up a hundred fold.
He was not mad at the cougar, it was being a cougar. But the experience humbled him.
But he will NEVER AGAIN enter the enclose of a wild animal again, nor will ever own an exotic pet.

I love how people go out into wild animal territory with no weapons

Tammy Janjan

Oh I’m sure all those liberals screaming for universal background checks really just want people to get eaten by wild animals. You realise that most NRA members agree with some form of gun laws? Also pretty sure you can take out a wild animal without an AR-15. So unless these people were on the terror watch list or planning on bring an AR-15, I’m not quite sure how you managed to make this into the prototypic argument about liberals hating guns…

Survival Life

Liberals keep screaming for stupid gun laws, so if you get caught with a weapon in certain states, countries, situations, etc… you could find yourself behind bars with huge fines and whatever else they can get on you. Now I will say a can of bear spray would be better than nothing and a knife or club.

Have u forgot this is Ontario Canada no guns allowed 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I lived 1/4 mile from Whiting Ranch and I remember this woman's attack. I spent my teen years hiking and exploring all over those hills and mountains both during the daytime as well as at night, I remember being very shocked by this story. I mean, you know lions are in the area but you never see them of course, and attacks are extremely rare.

Cyrus do you still explore the area after the attack or did you think maybe I should stop ?? Im just wondering if you took that attack as a warning or decided that it's rare theses things happen I'll be fine besides I can die in a car crash etc and still continued to enjoy exploring the area. I bet its beautiful area to live to have all that beautiful land to explore and enjoy. Whatever you do take care and stay safe and if you do still do go out and enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside be careful, and stay safe 😃

Stuck In Quarantine

As a person who lives in Colorado, a place where you see Coyotes all the time, I can clarify that Coyotes are almost conpletely harmless. We often see them walking down certain streets, and walking in fields often, and they always run away because they are scared of humans. I constantly see them in my backyard, and they usually are only there because they are hunting small animals such as rabbits and squirrels. There is this one neighborhood Coyote, who constantly walks down my street, and catches all of the rabbits nearby. The only thing to really watch out for about Coyotes is rabies, and your small pets. One of my best friends lost her young kitten to a Coyote not too long ago, and it's always a good reminder that they are still predators. If you live in a Coyote area, be aware of your small pets, such as dogs, cats, and other small animals you may own. If you see a Coyote, keep your distance, but don't be alarmed. They are most likely just minding their own business and hunting.
