This video illustrates very well why the human race is not meant to last.
We aren't advanced enough beyond our own greed and indifference to come together and reach out across all these barriers of ideology and belief to truly make the world a better place together.
We give power to a select few, let them tell us what to believe, what to think, and how to feel.
Whatever doesn't agree with it is dismissed as fake, or false, or bullshit; without giving a second thought or even the effort to go look things up.
I think its shown most clearly by the older gentleman who says only a 500 year old scientist could convince him otherwise.
Because that's how these people live and think, they're out there and are taught to trust only their own instincts and beliefs based on what they see.
That was invaluable thinking in a time when information was scarce, when you didn't know how the weather was going to turn.
When one week you had clear beautiful skies, and the next absolute hell as a hurricane came at you.
And those that govern the southern states know this, they're one of them, those up north are considered ignorant of all these things, they're the opposition.
We can't let corrupt special interest politics divide us, we can't let democrats and republican ideologies divide us.
Its UNITED we STAND, and DIVIDED we FAIL, and sadly its been the latter for a very long time.

I live in the Pacific northwest and my friends who are commercial fishermen are seeing the changes brought by climate change to the Pacific ocean. They are worried for their livelihoods.

I believe this is a valid point but also gives credence to some of the other theories and ideas out there of what is happening in our country and around the world especially, in our skies than I think people realize.

It’s interesting how this place seems to be sinking yet sea levels haven’t changed elsewhere, but yeh it’s gotta be fossil fuels. Islands in the middle of the pacific are growing in land mass, but let’s just ignore that fact, it kinda goes against our mission.

First the republicans, now fishermen? Unbelievable. We can still save climate change. But, with each passing year, the price for fixing it increases exponentially. (If we do nothing by 2100, it'll be a whopping 200B)
