Hace dos años atravesaba por una de las cosas más tristes que me ha pasado, y fué terminar una relación de doce años con la persona que pensé que iba a estar toda mi vida, y esta canción la escuchaba una y otra vez y me ayudó a exorcizar todos esos sentimientos y a superarlo.... ahora, que ya ha pasado el tiempo vuelvo a escucharla de casualidad y me doy cuenta que ya no duele, siempre se vuelve a empezar y a amar y la sonrisa vuelve, ahora solo quedan los buenos recuerdos.

Hace más de dos años esta canción marcó el final de quizás la relación más importante después de mi relación actual. Fueron tiempos indescriptibles, confusos y plagados de desesperanza. Esta canción describía exactamente lo que estaba viviendo en ese momento. Después de mucho tiempo tratando de mantener unidos los hilos de algo que está irremediablemente roto me plantee la necesidad de ponerle un punto final a aquella relación que marco mi vida en la universidad. Ya no era sano y el hecho de intentar continuar era injustificable. Escuché esta canción tantas veces que perdí la cuenta, pero tomé mi valor y me despedí de todo aquello para transitar un proceso que sería lento. Hoy, años después estoy apunto de comprometerme. Vuelvo a escuchar esta canción y recuerdo aquel momento gris en mi vida y agradezco profundamente que haya pasado. Si alguien la está escuchando por algún motivo similar, por favor sepan que no es el final, siempre la vida nos devuelva las ganas para vivirla, pero necesitamos pasar por la despedida
