Did you not read the laughable crap the O.P posted? Nobody is laughing at the risk, more like laughing at the childlike naivety of the OP.

They do not risk their lives for strangers in other countries, that is complete bullshit. They risk their lives for the following reasons:

1) They get paid money for their services - just like mercenaries.

2) They are invading other sovereign countries and setting up military bases there.

3) They are warring for control of oil and other resources.

4) They enlist, they are not drafted into war, buoyed into confidence with superior firepower, looking for 'action'.

About the only thing they do not actually risk their lives or minds for is preserving freedom. Remember, they are the the invaders.

NO country America 'liberates' asks for them to do so.

ALL countries America 'liberates' offer geo-strategic, military, or economic advantage for American 'interests'.

It doesn't matter what reasons the individual soldier has for his decision to take part in invading another country whether he thinks he is a hero or doing some great service to the inhabitants there, or if he fell hook line and sinker for the US military war propaganda machine's story tales.

The facts are his actual purpose in reality as decided by those above him, is to participate in US Global Hegemonic Expansion.

American soldiers are not heroes.

They are either idiots or assholes.

My dad used to be a drunk and hed listen to this song, and he was crying in his car to this one day and i was young but old enough to remember him talking about how he was a failure, how he was a broke drunk that couldn’t take care of himself or his kid and since then hes been sober from alcohol and tobacco for 9 years now. I am right there with you, my father used to talk to me when I was but a child about many PTSD problems in his life that my mother just couldn't either understand or be willing to listen. So he vented on me a child I later went in the military myself but trauma has a way of following you his habits to vent and other thing and my own problems.

This is my hubby's fav band. He has their tat. He wants to do the meet & greet thing for his bday. These dudes look scary. & tall. Lol, just intimidating. On top of intimidating. Just strangers that r also famous. I do believe I'll just hide behind him the whole time. Or attempt to. Bc he forever throws me to the wolves 😒. His dad gets on my nerves tho. He used to play in some band l.bizkit gave some credit to. My hubby hates them. Me, ha, it's like they're in my psyche, conscious or wever, idekw. Prob bc they're always in my feed. They had their time in my yrs. But his dad told us he loved us not too long ago. Last person to ever say something like that. & wever, cool story bruh. He's 1 of the many reasons y his sons r the way they r. Calling just to pretty much talk about a chase. My dad had ptsd and took his own life three years ago. He wasn't always the best dad but I am realizing as I get older he was always trying his best to be the best dad he could. He took his life infront of my eyes and the last thing he said was " buddy boy I love you and will always " then he pulled the trigger. I was only 3 years old and I remember my dad an my mom having a gun fight in the house. My sister an I were holding each other so tight . I'm 51 now . Just found this song a couple weeks ago and it feels like it was made specifically for me. Growing up in a really bad home I always failed my parent's expectations and my brother and sister went their own ways and i was left alone in my home. One day I'll forgive my parents for all they did but i will always Remember Everything they have done. My sibilings were often rebelious and I wasn't by their side bc i was scared. This song is just so moving to me because it speaks to me so personally and i will listen to it forever.
