I haven't been on a plane this year, but

During my introspection, I discovered my insecurities and propensity for conflict.

I didn't know I was so co-dependent
I was unaware of how much I relied on others for my own happiness and validation.

I didn't know I had so much resentment
I was surprised to discover the amount of negative emotions and grudges I held onto.

To the changes and the traumas
These negative emotions were related to the challenges and difficulties I faced in life.

I was keeping in a closet
I was pushing these emotions aside and not dealing with them directly.

Way too much shit that I don't wanna go through
I realized that I had a lot of emotional baggage that I was avoiding.

But I got nothing to do
Despite my avoidance, I had nothing else to occupy my time.

I don't know where, where I'm going
I am unsure of my direction and purpose in life.

But I think I'm growing
Despite the uncertainty, I believe I am making progress and evolving as a person.

And it fucking hurts in the moment
The process of growth is not easy and can be painful in the short term.

But I think I'm growing
Despite the pain, I am confident that my growth will lead to a better future.
