Dillard was born in the 187th Street projects of Carol City, Florida. His single mother raised him and his seven sisters, some of whom sang in a local gospel group. As a teenager, Dillard worked with local rap group 2 Live Crew and formed his own amateur group with some friends called the Groundhoggz. His work with 2 Live Crew member Fresh Kid Ice attracted attention of DeVante Swing, a member of the band Jodeci. However, he was rejected by several of the major labels, so he sought many other jobs outside of music. After graduating from high school in 1998, he studied international business management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for two years and attended Barry University for two months. He returned to Florida to continue pursuing his music career after receiving a phone call from a representative of the independent label Poe Boy Entertainment. A promotional street single entitled "Birthday", featuring Rick Ross, was his first significant release. He made his debut guest appearance with the song "Bitch I'm from Dade County" on DJ Khaled's album We the Best, which featured Trick Daddy, Trina, Rick Ross, Brisco, C-Ride, and Dre.

To make 'em stop and stare as I zone out
The club can't even handle me right now
Watchin' you watchin' me I go all out
The club can't even handle me right now
The club can't even handle me right now
Hey
Gotta be the feeling that Scarface player
Stuntin' go wild can't handle this plan
Life of the club arrogant like, yeah
Top like money all the girls just melt
Want so many all know me like Twelve
Look like cash and they all just stare
Bottles, Models, standin' on chairs
Fall out cause that's the business
All out it's so ridiculous
Zone out so much attention
Scream out I'm in the building (hey)
They watchin' I know this
I'm rockin' I'm rolling
I'm holding, I know it
You know it
You know I know how
To make 'em stop and stare as I zone out
The club can't even handle me right now
Watchin' you watchin' me I go all out
The club can't even handle me right now
The club can't even handle me right now
Hey
Still feelin' myself I'm like outta control
Can't stop now more shots lets go
Ten more rounds can I get a K-O
Paparazzi trying to make me pose
Came to party 'til I can no more
Celebrate cause that's all I know
Tip the groupies takin' off their clothes
Grand finale' like Super Bowl
Go hard run the show
That's right wild out got money to blow
More lights more ice when I walk in the door
No hype I do it big all over the globe
Yeah!
I said it
Go tell it
Confetti
Who ready?
I'm ready
You ready?
Let's get it
You know I know how
To make 'em stop and stare as I zone out
The club can't even handle me right now
Watchin' you watchin' me I go all out
The club can't even handle me right now
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
The club can't even handle me right now
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
You got me watchin' now (hey)
Got my attention now (hey)
Got everybody in the club wanting to know now
I am a ladies man
Come be my lady and
We can ball, so, ah
Bring ya body here let me switch up your atmosphere
Take you out of this club and in my new Lear
Fly you all around the world
What you want, baby girl
Are you ready to go now
You know I know how
To make 'em stop and stare as I zone out
The club can't even handle me right now
Watchin' you watchin' me I go all out
The club can't even handle me right now
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
(Put your hands up)
The club can't even handle me right now
(Put your hands up)
Let's celebrate now
(Put your hands up)
You know who shut it down
In "Club Can't Handle Me," Flo Rida and David Guetta create a braggadocious anthem that celebrates the power of their celebrity and the thrill of the party scene. The hook "The club can't even handle me right now" conveys their confidence and dominance, as they paint a picture of a wild night filled with beautiful people, champagne, and general debauchery. The first verse sets the tone, with Flo Rida boasting of his ability to make everyone stop and stare as he "zone[s] out" on the dance floor. He goes on to proclaim that he owns the night and doesn't need anyone else's help to have a good time. The second verse takes things up a notch, with Flo Rida revealing that he feels out of control but wants to keep going, take more shots, party until he can no longer stand. The song is a triumphant ode to excess, and Guetta's crisp, electronic production only adds to the frenzied energy.
The lyrics in "Club Can't Handle Me" are a bit shallow, and the message is straightforward. The song is all about the feeling of being the life of the party, and it's clear that Flo Rida and Guetta are reveling in their fame and the attention it brings. However, the song also captures the exhilaration of being young and carefree, with no responsibilities or worries - just endless nights of music, dancing, and fun. It's no wonder the track was such a massive hit upon its release in 2010. The infectious beat and catchy hook are impossible not to move to, and the song remains an enduring party anthem to this day.
