Florida Georgia Line was formed in 2010 in Nashville, Tennessee as a cover band. In December 2011, they signed to the Big Loud label and in 2012, they released their second EP, It'z Just What We Do, which charted on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Then then signed with Republic Nashville, part of Big Machine Records[9] and released Anything Goes (2014), Dig Your Roots (2016), Can't Say I Ain't Country (2019), and Life Rolls On (2021).

I lost my Dad over 30 years ago and this song hit me like a ton of bricks. I was in college when he passed, so I missed the last few years of his life. I didn't get to do so much with him. He never met my sons. My wife never got to meet him. I treasure the things that we did get to do together. He was and is my hero, not a perfect man, but he was my DAD and I love him and I miss him!!
