Imagination
Fly Moon Royalty feat. Calea Bailey Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I spotted your eyes from across the room
As bright as the sun, they'd make every flower bloom
I hate to be cliche, but if I don't talk to you
I'm not completely sure just what I would do
Don't know if you came alone or with a crew
I thought I'd come over and holler at you
And you could just say no- I won't tell you what to do
But I heard it's your birthdayโ€ฆ can I sing this to you?

Can I have this dance with you baby?
Can I have this dance with you?
You make everyday feel just like it's a birthday
Can I share 365 more with you?

Now, it's been years since, and we're still going strong
People they wonder how we sill get along
I tell them "When you have a gift this good, you take care of it"
And in you, baby, I just can't go wrong
You're sweet as sugarcane- the words to my song
The very sun that lights my whole day long

And now another birthday, and we're still satisfied
So for you, baby, I sing this little song.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Fly Moon Royalty feat. Calea Bailey's song Imagination is a love song that expresses the deep admiration and affection the singer has for their partner. The song is divided into two parts, with the first part detailing the moment the singer first laid eyes on their partner and was struck by their beauty. The lyrics describe how the eyes of their partner were as bright as the sun, making every flower bloom, and how the singer was hesitant to approach them for fear of being rejected. However, the singer musters up the courage to speak to their partner, and in a playful moment, asks to serenade them for their birthday.

The second part of the song jumps ahead in time and explores the depth of the relationship between the singer and their partner. The lyrics detail how the couple has been together for years, and despite the challenges that come with a long-term relationship, they are still going strong. The singer describes their partner as their sweet sugarcane, the very sun that lights up their day. The final verse acknowledges another birthday and the satisfaction both the singer and their partner have in each other, with the singer serenading them once again with a little song. Overall, Imagination is a poetic ode to a loved one, and a testament to the power of true love.

@@jasonellis4342 Well, the language you're using, was saved by us English people, so can explain that for you.

In the 11th century when the Normans invaded England, only French and Latin were spoken by those rulers and the clergy, but we English people refused to relent, and we hung on to our sturdy language.

For one hundred years or more, books were not written in English, but only in Latin, French, and Greek, but we English people only spoke English.

We insisted on speaking English, we absorbed French, Latin, and Greek words, and added them to English words โ€” that came from Old German and Old Norse. We made the language, โ€œEnglishโ€, richer, more subtle, and much more precise.

The Normans, meanwhile, intermarried with us English people, and they also learned to speak English โ€” playful, pungent, philosophical, practical, and poetic English.

Pluralization goes back to Old English, when v wasn't really considered a letter, but rather a different pronunciation of f when f came in between two vowel sounds, therefore, the plural of reef is reefs and not reeves.

This is just one of many of our greatest achievements, and the English language belongs to all of us. First, for saving our language from conquest, and then secondly, by letting it grow freely, with all the people of England deciding which words we liked, and wanted to keep, and which words we'd scuttle.

In the intervening years, we English people, have invented and added over a million new words, including half a million technical and scientific terms, while German has about 185,000 words and French has fewer than 100,000. English is the default language of the world.

Today, the English language is the most widely spoken language in the world, and is the world's default language. All from the little Island, you could fit into the USA 40 times and into Russia 70 times.

Sea turtles have played a significant role in traditional management systems on Pacific islands (Kinan & Danzell, 2005), representing an important subsistence and cultural value for many Indigenous societies throughout the region.

Traditionally, they are known to be part of mythology, religious ceremonies and perpetuated community relationships and identities through the exchange of meat and by-products (Kinan & Danzell, 2005; Luna, 2003, 2013).

Their value in ancient and current societies show a pan-Pacific distribution-Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesiaโ€”that encompass a wealth of linguistic groups and every conceivable type of social structure (Luna, 2013).

Indeed, Wilmรฉ et al. (2016) hypothesized that the early Austronesians used the migration routes of sea turtles towards their hunting grounds to locate islands in the Pacific and Indian oceans.

20 years ago people mocked us for saying it appeared that an advanced civilization existed globally. Now seeing work like yours appearing is such a gratifying experience. Thank you for keeping your eyes and mind open.

@toi_techno

I'm still mocking you
People who try to take away the achievements of first-nations civilisations and attribute them to "ancient aliens/space men/ancient-advanced-white-people are just boring racists

@1AceHeart1

You know what amazes me most? Not how precise, huge and amazing this things are. But the fact that we dont know for any of them their original purpose. Meaning those civilizations or whoever did it, were so much more advanced then us, that we can't even find a logical explanation of what for those things are done. Simply because they didn't use any of our methods, but something on another level.
