Hay un baile en el magangue
y yo sigo aqui cantando
y la fiesta empezo otra vez
y me estoy emborrachando
Hay un baile en el magangue
y yo sigo aqui cantando
y me estoy emborrachando
Y es que yo soy
de los que creen
que si camino pa adelante
voy siguiendo a la que baila
y mira
que estoy borracho
y tu que estas arrepentida
invitame a otra cosita
y dale!
que es lo que pasa?
y es que esta fiesta no termina
y no te puedes ir pa tu casa
sal!
ay no me ruegues
hay que ser libre esta noche
de este baile aqui en la playa

The song "Magangue" by Fonseca is a lively and upbeat party anthem that celebrates the joy of dancing and enjoying life. Throughout the song, the singer talks about the various festivities and parties that take place in Magangue, a city in Colombia. The song's chorus talks about a dance in Magangue that the singer is missing out on, but he is still singing and having a good time regardless. The singer also acknowledges his love for dancing and how he enjoys following the lead of the dancers, even if he is a bit drunk. The overall message of the song is to let go and enjoy oneself in the moment.
One interesting fact about the song is that it was inspired by real events in Fonseca's life. He grew up in a small town in Colombia called San Juan de Uraba, where festivities and parties were a vital part of the community's culture. The lyrics of the song are reflective of the energy and excitement that Fonseca associates with these events. Another interesting fact is that the song's title refers to the city of Magangue, which is located in the northern part of Colombia. It is a well-known tourist destination, famous for its lively party scene and beautiful beaches.
Additionally, the song features a fusion of different musical styles, blending traditional Colombian rhythms with pop and rock influences. It creates a unique sound that reflects Fonseca's approach to music, which is to incorporate a range of musical styles into his work. The song's upbeat tempo and infectious melody have made it a popular dancefloor hit, both in Colombia and around the world.
In terms of music theory, the song follows a basic chord progression of G, C, D, and Em. However, it is essential to remember that Fonseca's unique musical style involves blending different musical elements, so the actual chords played may vary depending on the arrangement.
