Dickhead!
Forever Slave Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

That story cross the threshold.
The scenes go back to my mind.

He inspires respect
in that town.
He's a priest
and she's his wife.
Me, a poor girl
who lives in their house.
I clean their home
and warm his bed up.

Chorus:
"Dickhead!
Leave me alone.
Don't get my skin dirty.

Dickhead!
Let me go
I won't talk to anyone."

I feel hate
when he touches me
Only I'm sixteen...
He's stealing my life.
He sits down
near me,
while his wife
is watching tv.
When her glance is far away,
he plays with his hand
under my skirt

Chorus / SOLO

It's my truth.
It's my chance.
The end of a nightmare.

Take a car now.

Park it near his home.
Two shoots and fire in their house 2xChorus

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Forever Slave's song "Dickhead!" are quite dark and reveal the story of a girl being sexually abused by a priest. The first verse is where the girl remembers the traumatic event in her mind when the story crosses the threshold. She remembers how the priest, who is supposed to be respected in their town inspired fear, and how he is married. The girl is a poor one who works for the priest by cleaning his house where she also shares his bed. The chorus of the song portrays the girl pleading to be left alone by the priest as he touches her inappropriately while she declares she will not tell anyone about it.

The second verse gives out more details of the sexual abuse, which is quite intense as the girl dislikes it but cannot fight back as the priest is stealing her life at the age of sixteen. The priest plays with his hand under her skirt while his wife watches TV, but the moment her glance shifts, the priest continues what he is up to. The song's story reaches its climax in the final verse, where the girl decides to take action. She declares that it's her truth, and it's her chance to put an end to the nightmare that she's been living in. To achieve this, she goes to the priest's house, shoots twice into the building, and sets it on fire.
