Tabloid Super Junky
Foster the People Lyrics

Well capitalistic feast has been sucking the heat
You're passing up, you're injured, for ability
Well I've been waiting for a compromise but guess its more the same
We've separated all the things that we want for gain
You remember your name?
Well they were looking right at you, you forget the face

Well if the future's sipping up all the space and food through a straw
And a mock is finally flipped on its back
Well static is a worthy test to help you brush aside the rest

Is this something that you'd ever need
Well I'm okay
Are you scared to take what they've taken from you
Yeah I am afraid
We're so done in

I'm sick of being accosted by the ghost in the street
Your magazine looking backward thinking junkies are just fodder for the global lead
Do you think you had a choice
When you're eating and sleeping in all the noise?
Let the moneymakers keep the politicians afloat
We're biting everything that we're told
Well, then a smile and a couple of jokes will be enough of to convince the good folks

Well, is this something you ever need?
Well, I'm okay
Are you waiting for a minute to fight for what they've taken from you?
Yeah, I'm afraid
We're so done in

Buddy be thankful you never went through what i did.

My best friend passed away at age 19 in 2018.

And ive been mentally and emotionally scarred since.

I can't physically smile for nearly 3 years

And my last words to her were I love you 5 hours before she died. Still running through my head even know it was almost 3 years ago

This song bring me so much nostalgia OMG, I remember when Supermodel came out in 2014, I was 12 and FTP was a huge life changer for me.

Same here, I was 12 when Supermodel came out, album’s also a big reminder of my first semester of high school

Always remember summer 2014 listening to supermodel on repeat, I miss the days of being 16/17 with no worries

I was 12 too, that was when I got into indie/alternative music and I'm glad I did.

It’s like Coming of Age but evil

A friend told me that this song for her is like the ''Bohemian Rhapsody'' of Foster the People because all of its phases. Since she said that, I've been listening to this song with other perspective.

I think “The Unforseeable Fate of Mr. Jones” is more like the “Bohemian Rhapsody” of FTP

lol i thought the same thing! but i think its more liar without the "all day long" part and bohemian rhapsody meshed together.
