In December, Frøder was selected as one of Spotify’s Spotlight Artists for 2015. “At the age of 21, Frøder is hands down one of the biggest natural talents in Norway”, Spotify says.
Frøder has captivated listeners with her strong, distinctive voice and unique songwriting. Her sound invokes Nordic sound scape; a blend of indie and pop amidst windy seas and tall western mountains. The multitalented artist based @tanken in Sandvika is regarded as one of the most promising artists in the country, and is currently working on her debut album.
Frøder has released two singles in Norway that have both been play listed on national radio. Her new single “Keep Forever” will be released ahead of this year’s By:larm.
Her new live show features her trusted Abelton Push, an experience that is not to be missed. On stage she will perform with a trio, Frøder on vocals and abelton push, drums, and synthesizers.

Amazing song reminds me of my hitchhiking journey through Norway and the bit of time I spent in Bergen as well as Nesna. The song somehow to me mixes new age fresh sounds while still creating the feeling of Traditional Folk Norwegian Music with such deep emotion that inspires me to look at the strife that all our ancestors have gone through so that we can be here now. Over the sea is a beautiful song for which I am great full to be able to hear. Keep up the amazing work!!!! and thanks
