France is a young, unknown band from France with hurdy-gurdy, drums and bass guitar that produce an energetic performances reminiscent of the early collaborations between Faust and Tony Conrad. Creativly recycled influences result in intense shows with pounding overtones and repetitive pulsing rhythms. Loud, straight and trance-inducing.

Comme un sourire
Quelque chose dans la voix
Qui parait nous dire "viens"
Qui nous fait sentir étrangement bien
C'est comme toute l'histoire
Du peuple noir
Entre l'amour et l'désespoir
Quelque chose qui danse en toi
Si tu l'as, tu l'as
Quand tu l'as, tu l'as

The lyrics of France's song "Ella, elle l'a" describe a certain quality, an intangible something that some people possess that others do not. The song likens this quality to a feeling of joy, something that makes us smile and want to come closer. It's described as a "weird state" that it puts us in, but it is enjoyable nonetheless. The comparison is made to the story of the black people who have withstood adversity and have found both love and despair, something that is also within all of us. The song encourages the listener to show their emotions, whether it's through laughter or tears, and to embrace their true selves. This quality cannot be bought, it is simply something that exists within us or it does not.
In terms of cultural significance, "Ella, elle l'a" was a chart-topping single in France in 1987, and has since enjoyed continued popularity. The song's lyrics were written by Michel Berger, a French singer, songwriter, and composer who passed away in 1992. The song was originally intended to be performed by France Gall, a French singer who was Berger's wife, but was later selected to be the title track of her eighth album. The song quickly became a hit, as its upbeat and catchy melody accompanied by the lyrics of the qualities that make a person unique.

Lyon is very cool. It is absolutely wonderful during the Festival of Lights. The architecture is a mixture of Antiquity, Middle Ages and Renaissance ... The gastronomy is famous and you have a lot of museums, in particular a museum on cinema because the creator of the cinema came from Lyon. You can visit a Roman circus, a beautiful basilica, churches, places. You can go to an Italian theater and opera house, visit awesome bookstores because the book industry in Renaissance and even before was a huge industry in Lyon and you have a lot of museums about it, even on silk , and art in general. You have a prestigious art museum, it is: The Museum of Fine Arts ( Le Musée des Beaux-arts). Science is very important too and history. Around Lyon you have beautiful nature, countryside and small medieval towns like Pérouges where you can eat some kind of sugar cake and drink cider. The restaurants are called “Bouchons” in Lyon but it's better if you like meat. These are typical restaurants, with good and traditional dishes to Lyon. During the Festival of Lights, it's incredible. It's an old tradition. A long time ago during the plague, the people of Lyon put a candle at their windows as a sign of adoration to the Virgin so that she could protect the inhabitants from the plague. So it's a very old tradition and even in the countryside you can see people putting lanterns on their windows. If you want to know more about the Festival of Lights, I advise you to see this video:
