Besides the highly successful "Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son", she also notably sung "Les Sucettes" and "Baby Pop". In France, she was perhaps more known for the chanson songs she sang in the late-70s through the mid-80s, many of them written by her husband, Michel Berger, who died in 1992. In 1987, she had some additional international success with her Ella Fitzgerald tribute "Ella, elle l'a". She still recorded music into the new millennium.
France Gall died on 7 january 2018 at age 70 in a hospital in Paris.
Le Cœur Qui Jazze
France Gall Lyrics

Pour un blues en-ten-du
Tout au fond de la nuit
D'u-ne pe-ti-te rue
De la ville en-dor-mie
Moi j'ai le coeur qui jazze
J'ai-ai le coeur qui-i jazze
Et pour le grand é-clair
D'un or-ches-tre d'en-fer
Qui é-clate en plein ciel
Aus-si chaud qu'un so-leil
Moi j'ai le coeur qui jazze
J'ai-ai le coeur qui-i jazze
Pour un voi-lier qui danse
Pour u-ne fleur des champs
Pour tes yeux quand j'y pense
Et j'y pen-se souvent
Moi j'ai le coeur qui jazze
J'ai-ai le coeur qui-i jazze
2
Pour cette peur d'aimer
Qui parfois me poursuit
Pour le moindre couplet
Que me chante un ami
Moi j'ai le coeur qui jazze
J'ai-ai le coeur qui-i jazze
Pour une grande joie
Ou pour un peu de peine
Un rien venant de toi
Un tout petit je t'aime
Et j'ai le coeur qui jazze
J'ai-ai le coeur qui-i jazze
The lyrics to France Gall's "Le Coeur Qui Jazze" are a poetic representation of the way music can touch the heart of the listener. In the first verse, Gall describes the feeling of being drawn to a lonely street at night by the sound of a blues song. She uses the metaphor of her heart "jazzing" to convey the way the music moves her and makes her feel alive. The second verse paints a picture of a celestial orchestra playing a fiery tune that is as hot as the sun. Again, Gall's heart is moved by the music and is made alive by the sound of the jazz music.
The following verses discuss how various things in life can make her heart jazze, including the dance of a sailboat, the sight of a wildflower, or the thought of the eyes of a loved one. Gall uses her own experiences and feelings to convey how the music and the world can impact us emotionally. She also speaks to the idea that even the simplest things, like a small expression of love, can make our hearts sing.
In summary, "Le Coeur Qui Jazze" celebrates the transformative power of music and the wide range of emotions it can evoke in us. The lyrics are a love letter to jazz, a genre that has the power to move listeners to feel alive, just as Gall's heart is moved by the music.

France Gall encarna algo que hoy ya nadie puede encarnar. France Gall es irrepetible. Son de esas personas genuinas y de grandes valores humanos, que no vuelven a repetirse. Era la favorita de Edith Piaf

Amazing ! Thank you for sharing this video you have put so much effort in. This is a song I had on a cd of Mojo Club Compilation and I always thought it was sang by few girls and not just one. So many years have passed, and I have finally build my own music style and start paying much more attention to things I like, so I read who sings this song and googled it. This song is simply adorable. So stylish, sophisticated , retro and young :) Thank you for this Live video. Love and Light *

@Claudius1943 - Once again you have done an outstanding job and I appreciate your tireless efforts. Such great, if flawed, source material ~ the choice of a refinery was absurd from day one, but it is great to see France outdoors singing to this. Excellent pictures as well, including one of my favorites behind the drum kit! Many thanks!

Peculiar location they chose for videos, I wonder if there was a story behind it, but in any case it's always nice to see France. Thanks for sharing, Claude!
