OMG this has just taken me right back to Germany in 1981, when I met my future husband... This tune and the smell of Brut, send me straight back there...
I miss him so much, as he passed away last year after a hard fought battle against Pancreatic Cancer...

While I love Vangelis. I don't think it would have been nearly as good if he composed this. This whole soundtrack is meant to capture the sensual feeling of a young woman discovering her sexuality. While Vangelis' compositions are very moving, just not in the same nature as Francis Lai.

Une des plus romantiques et sensibles musiques... ma mère avait la cassette orange et l’écoutait tous les dimanches en buvant son whisky et en préparant le repas de midi... moi j’écoutais en cachette dans ma chambre avec la porte ouverte, j’étais comme hypnotisé par ces ondes, vibrations qui prenaient mon cerveau d’assaut... je ne m’intéressais pas à l’érotisme du filme à l’époque la musique était tellement puissante qu’elle me suffisait... aujourd’hui après presque 40 ans elle continue d’avoir tout son pouvoir d’hypnose et de relaxation, un peu comme les musique de Vangelis (The Mutiny of the Bounty) ou de Hubert Allay (Watoo Watoo)
