Yeah. I think it´s not the first time I´ve noticed similarities between Ghibli films and Zelda artsyle. Skyward Sword had a lot of musical influences there as well, imo.

So nice! Right now the bgm emphasizes on ambience of the environment, and the piano only kicks in during key moments of the game (to make players feel strong emotions). Who knows if the theme in the trailer song will be a central one; we'll have to wait and see

Love the piece and your performance! I've been trying to play it myself, but looking at your sheetmusic, I can't help but notice that you have some over-complicated rhythms, that aren't really accurate to your performance. One thing you could try using, at the beginning for example, would be rolled chords instead of a complex mess of 16ths and triple-duple tradeoffs... Overall, great work, thanks!

I think I was aiming to make it sound as similar to the original material with those rhythms that made me prefer going with that alternative as opposed to rolled chords, but yes, it's a very good consideration for future arrangements. cheers!

So the other day I installed a custom Breath of the Wild theme on my 3DS, and it used your version of the song! (this recording, cut starting at 0:31)

It's such a joy hearing that lead-in when I boot up or press the Home Menu button. I had to hunt it down and say thanks! It sounds truly lush as a solo piano piece but also works great on the portable.

Haha, yeah, I usually learn songs with sheets, but I found this piece as a great opportunity to train my ears. I've been playing for many years and it's great to finally see these kind of results, coming out with a nice arrangement in a short timeframe.

Back at that time, I recorded with a Roland DP90Se, and the samples were Native Instruments - The Grandeur. As you'll see in my later vids, I'm now playing with a Roland GP607 and using the Garrison Abbey Road Studios CFX Concert Grand. Cheers!
