Amam ni no ya, when the world seems so dark
It is You o Lord who heard my cry And wipe my tears away
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya, even when I needed
You Amam ni no ya, when my soul longs for
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Lord I can take You in all You came and show me the way
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya
Amam ni no ya Yeah.
Mighty God I'm so grateful
You are a Shield and an Help above
Omema eh
Omema eh
Holy is Your name
Worthy is Your name
You deserve the glory and the honour
Amam ni no ya
Good God Almighty
Amam ni no ya
The song "Amam Ni No Ya" by Frank Edwards is a powerful worship song that expresses gratitude to God for always being present in times of need. The lyrics are in the Igbo language, one of the major languages spoken in Nigeria. The phrase "Amam ni no ya" translates to "He never leaves me" in English. The song emphasizes that no matter what happens in life, God is always there to wipe away tears, hold hands and watch over His children.
The lyrics also describe a deep longing for God's presence and a reminder that God is the only one who can give comfort in trying times. The phrase "even when all friends are gone" suggests that this is a personal experience, possibly a time when the songwriter felt alone and isolated. However, the song reminds listeners that God is always there, waiting to receive and comfort them with open arms.
Throughout the song, the artist expresses his gratefulness for God's love and protection. The phrases "you are a shield and a help above" and "you deserve the glory and honour" give thanks to God's goodness and blessings. The song ends with a beautiful chorus that repeats the phrase "Amam ni no ya," emphasizing the message that God never leaves.

Amam ni no ya.l know Lord that you are with me,that l ll surely come out of these tribulations, trials, sleeplessness nights, I know that you will surely hear the cries of a widow and the cries of my kids. who became fatherless all of a sudden.
