The lyrics to Frank Edwards's "Chim Oh" are a celebration of God's might, faithfulness, and goodness. The song opens up with an exclamation of "Chim o Chim o" which can be translated to "My God, oh my God." The repetition of this phrase emphasizes the awe and reverence that the singer has for God. The first verse speaks of God's might, describing Him as a "mighty God" because of the great things He has done. The second verse recognizes God's faithfulness by calling Him a "faithful God." The singer gives all of his praise to God, acknowledging that everything he has accomplished was only possible with God's strength and guidance.
The pre-chorus of the song contains several phrases in Igbo, which is a Nigerian language, that speak to God's greatness. "Imara nma" means "You look good," and "Idi ebube" means "You are glorious." The verse also calls God "Onye nwem na chineke m o" which means "My Lord and my God." The chorus repeats the phrases from the pre-chorus and reinforces the singer's declaration of love and praise for God. The bridge expresses gratitude for God's mercy and grace, recognizing that without Him, the singer would have been "nwuru onwu," which means "dead and forgotten." The song is an uplifting celebration of the greatness of God and serves as a reminder that everything is possible with Him.

My God My God what a mighty God you are.
My God My God what a faithful God you are.
U are beautiful
U are glorious
My owner and my God
Every morning I will give you thanks
And lifting up
You are the one that died for me.
(he then keeps repeating it in various ways)
Then says you are the one that I will praise.
