Frank Sinatra Lyrics

Baby won't you please come home
'Cause your daddy's all alone
I have tried in vain
Never no more to call your name

When you left you broke my heart
Because I never thought we'd part
Every hour in the day
You will hear me say:

Overall Meaning

These lyrics are a plea from a man who is lost and alone since his partner left him. He addresses his partner as "baby" and begs them to come back home as he is now alone. The man mentions that he tried to fill the void left by his partner's absence but has failed to do so. He misses his partner so much that he cannot stop calling out their name even though he knows it is futile. The man's love for his partner is apparent from his words as he reminds them that they have broken his heart and he never thought they would part. The lyrics also reflect the emotions of a typical heartbroken lover who is stuck in the past and cannot let go of their lover.

Frank Sinatra is the best male singer ever. He has a very smooth voice. You can understand ever word he says in his songs. I miss him being here. But at least we have his songs to listen to.
