I See It Now
Frank Sinatra Lyrics

That year in Oakland High
When I was seventeen
The grass from there to San Jose
Was high and cool and green

I see it now
Too brash and young was I
To know what time could mean
The old Acacia lawn cut down
Was felt but never seen

I see it now
That world I knew is lost to me
Loves have come and gone
The years go racing by
I live as best I can
And all at once I know
It means the making of a man
I see it now
I see it now
I see it now

what a gem by frank.

When one listens to the entire album, the striking thing is the amount of control over every note he and Gordon Jenkins exhibit. To do slow songs softly is much harder than loud ones brashly. The people who made this deserve huge admiration; not just Frank but all the guys in the orchestra. I salute the compiler of these images for matching them well to the words.

After all these years of hearing "nothing's perfect," I just happened to stumble into this. Thus far there's only been one equally perfect idiot with a contrarian opinion. There'll be more, after all, Trump is president.

Beautiful imagery...reminds me of my dad. I miss him so.

Incredible! I miss Frank so much.
