Some Enchanted Evening
Frank Sinatra Lyrics

Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger,
You may see a stranger across a crowded room,
And somehow you know, you know even then,
That somehow you'll see here again and again.

Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing,
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room,
And night after night, as strange as it seems,
The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams.
Who can explain it, who can tell you why?
Fools give you reasons, wise men never try.

Some enchanted evening, when you find your true love,
When you hear her call you across a crowded room,
Then fly to her side and make her your own,
Or all through your life you may dream all alone.

Once you have found her, never let her go,
Once you have found her, never let her go.

Ah what an amazing version of this lovely song. My grandfather passed away yesterday leaving his wife of 65 years and this was always their song. Every time it would play they would hold hands. I'll never forget it. Love Frank too.

Forgot to add, this is his exiting song tomorrow 💔

Hannah S my grandads funeral is tomorrow, also leaving my Nan who was married to him for 65 years. My heart is hurting so very badly

This is amazing. I played it for my great uncle an hour before he passed away a few months ago.

I had to comment as my Nanna passed away yesterday and this was her and my Grandpa's song. I played it to her during her final days and found great comfort thinking they were going to be reunited again. It will be played at her funeral too xxxx

This must be about the most romantic, but non-corny song ever written, with the best tune and the best sung into the bargain!

stay thin, live longer. All of the smokes, all the drinking, and the pills and he lived to 82!
John,
Here is a great quip I have lived by for a while now..

"It's not what you do, it's how you do it!"

Nostalgic for a time I've never experienced.
