He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Italian immigrants, Sinatra began his musical career in the swing era with bandleaders Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. Sinatra found success as a solo artist after he signed with Columbia Records in 1943, becoming the idol of the "bobby soxers". He released his debut album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra, in 1946. Sinatra's professional career had stalled by the early 1950s, and he turned to Las Vegas, where he became one of its best known residency performers as part of The Rat Pack. His career was reborn in 1953 with the success of From Here to Eternity, with his performance subsequently winning an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor. Sinatra released several critically lauded albums, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955), Songs for Swingin' Lovers! (1956), Come Fly with Me (1958), Only the Lonely (1958) and Nice 'n' Easy (1960).
Sinatra left Capitol in 1960 to start his own record label, Reprise Records, and released a string of successful albums. In 1965, he recorded the retrospective September of My Years, starred in the Emmy-winning television special Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music, and released the tracks "Strangers in the Night" and "My Way". After releasing Sinatra at the Sands, recorded at the Sands Hotel and Casino in Vegas with frequent collaborator Count Basie in early 1966, the following year he recorded one of his most famous collaborations with Tom Jobim, the album Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim. It was followed by 1968's collaboration with Duke Ellington. Sinatra retired for the first time in 1971, but came out of retirement two years later and recorded several albums and resumed performing at Caesars Palace, and reached success in 1980 with "New York, New York". Using his Las Vegas shows as a home base, he toured both within the United States and internationally until a short time before his death in 1998.
Sinatra forged a highly successful career as a film actor. After winning an Academy Award for From Here to Eternity, he starred in The Man with the Golden Arm (1955), and received critical acclaim for his performance in The Manchurian Candidate (1962). He appeared in various musicals such as On the Town (1949), Guys and Dolls (1955), High Society (1956), and Pal Joey (1957), winning another Golden Globe for the latter. Toward the end of his career, he became associated with playing detectives, including the title character in Tony Rome (1967). Sinatra would later receive the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award in 1971. On television, The Frank Sinatra Show began on ABC in 1950, and he continued to make appearances on television throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Sinatra was also heavily involved with politics from the mid-1940s, and actively campaigned for presidents such as Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan, though before Kennedy's death Sinatra's alleged Mafia connections led to his being snubbed.
While Sinatra never formally learned how to read music, he had an impressive understanding of it, and he worked very hard from a young age to improve his abilities in all aspects of music. A perfectionist, renowned for his dress sense and performing presence, he always insisted on recording live with his band. His bright blue eyes earned him the popular nickname "Ol' Blue Eyes". Sinatra led a colorful personal life, and was often involved in turbulent affairs with women, such as with his second wife Ava Gardner. He went on to marry Mia Farrow in 1966 and Barbara Marx in 1976. Sinatra had several violent confrontations, usually with journalists he felt had crossed him, or work bosses with whom he had disagreements. He was honored at the Kennedy Center Honors in 1983, was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Ronald Reagan in 1985, and the Congressional Gold Medal in 1997. Sinatra was also the recipient of eleven Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Trustees Award, Grammy Legend Award and the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. After his death, American music critic Robert Christgau called him "the greatest singer of the 20th century", and he continues to be seen as an iconic figure.
Sinatra died with his wife at his side at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on May 14, 1998, aged 82, after a heart attack. Sinatra had ill health during the last few years of his life, and was frequently hospitalized for heart and breathing problems, high blood pressure, pneumonia and bladder cancer. He was further diagnosed as having dementia. He had made no public appearances following a heart attack in February 1997. Sinatra's wife encouraged him to "fight" while attempts were made to stabilize him, and his final words were, "I'm losing." Sinatra's daughter, Tina, later wrote that she and her sister, Nancy, had not been notified of their father's final hospitalization, and it was her belief that "the omission was deliberate. Barbara would be the grieving widow alone at her husband's side." The night after Sinatra's death, the lights on the Empire State Building in New York City were turned blue, the lights at the Las Vegas Strip were dimmed in his honor, and the casinos stopped spinning for a minute.
Sinatra's funeral was held at the Roman Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills, California, on May 20, 1998, with 400 mourners in attendance and thousands of fans outside. Gregory Peck, Tony Bennett, and Sinatra's son, Frank Jr., addressed the mourners, who included many notable people from film and entertainment. Sinatra was buried in a blue business suit with mementos from family members—cherry-flavored Life Savers, Tootsie Rolls, a bottle of Jack Daniel's, a pack of Camel cigarettes, a Zippo lighter, stuffed toys, a dog biscuit, and a roll of dimes that he always carried—next to his parents in section B-8 of Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.
His close friends Jilly Rizzo and Jimmy Van Heusen are buried nearby. The words "The Best Is Yet to Come", plus "Beloved Husband & Father" are imprinted on Sinatra's grave marker. Significant increases in recording sales worldwide were reported by Billboard in the month of his death.

The first Noel, the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay they were keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel
Those shepherds looked up and they saw a bright star
Shining there in the East beyond them far
And to the darkened lands it gave a great light
And so it continued through day and through night
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel
@JGRAECE
🌹. I’m getting married (eloping.. staycation) at the 4 Seasons in Chicago on 12/24/22 to my beloved twin Flame, Bryan. Simple, just us.. only private vows in a little room (I see it about 4pm).. oh! And I’m also hoping my dear friend KR can remote in somehow (via zoom maybe) and officiate it..- witness us.- well, lead us in a blessing.. prayer ..essentially marry us.- Epic, right?! Only thing, he’s not consciously aware of this yet.. lol. I don’t think! Maybe though.. I feel he may be aware.- tho.. he’s pretty foxy on the etheric plane. As I like to say, “dialed in!”. 😉🌹. 🙌.
It’s my dream to marry him that day..- do meaningful to my heart.- our joined purpose and ministry.- Christ consciousness..- CHRIST …. MAS. You dig? I envision 3 nights in a regular room (King Suite) nothing crazy.. city view. I’ve viewed it countless times online. We arrive on 12/22 and checkout 12/25. We also get the luxury of spending time with his family as he wills and desires since we are just hanging out low key all weekend around the city.- That way we are totally flex and able to pop in and out whenever and wherever. I don’t have family close (and my estranged mom passed last year on 12/20) so I look forward to adopting his as mine (if they will have me 😊). I have spent the last 3 full years of holidays 100 percent alone, so this all (Hallmark movie ish..) lol is so fun to my heart. I’m not fussy! I just roll with the flow. 🌹
Sorry I rambled! I just cannot wait to marry Bryan on 12/24/22, taking my new full name Jayce Grace……? Not sure his last name yet but don’t care.- legal name anyways.. I keep hearing for him Bryan Gray (not sure spelling). This is not his last name.- but he goes by this in life.. business etc. we need to go undercover for our work.
Do stage names- (lol.). - Bryan Gray and Jayce Grace.
Sort of a microcosm of the macrocosm don’t you think? 🌹.
God bless you! And Merry Christmas. I just love me some old blue eyes 🔥
Cheers! Jayce Grace ♥️. I’m seeing.. now. Bryan probably uses Grae for spelling.. something divinely lining up with Grace here. Nothing dull in this world!
Oh and no rings needed for me. The divine brought me my favorite (red band.. rubber lol) I LOVE IT! And I have other colors. I want this…. Not at all into diamond bling, honestly. I also have a little thin gold band that he got me (synchronicity here..). Cost $152 😁. I have already been wearing these rings in honor of my commitment and married on 12/24/22 at the 4 Seasons in Chicago for almost (feels like) a year! Daily. Do we are already married (as we know all creation finished). We just get to experience it now in 3D. Pinch me! Boy I love that man and Chicago.- Our “baby.” This lifetime.. huge calling! Our company called CHI & ROSE 🌹. So much around this.. and other companies feeding in. We are multi- BIllionaires (yes! Majorly) in this reality.- It’s crazy how luxurious we live.. but organic and natural. We buy 333 Wabash old cns (I think) building.- Red little one! Our Rose goes on front facing water and CHI
& ROSE on side 🌹. We use the projector capability as holy light and intention for that building to be a “vadra” (—- my word.- lol of awakening for the city. A holy pod if you will. It was shown to me many months ago.- Ken G had to leave.- prosperity consciousness thing! So much here.. but I’ll leave it. Chicago is our child.. all children are our children. We do much work around the city undercover (Elliot NES style). You know…. But holy lights in our consciousness. We awaken peeps to the Christ within them by being the embodiment of our own. Compassionate witness (Kuan Yin style).
So much here! Endorsement deals.. massive amounts of easy passive income because we are who we are. Twin flames and smoking stylish and luxurious and know it.- we want that for all!
Oh! And we have a massive calling to the Sioux and Lakota .. Native American people in this country.. huge in the Sioux/Lakota though. My heart bleeds love and seethes anger here for the injustices and impoverishment happening!!!! My mission is (me and B’s mission) is to bring resources and healing…. Inspiration and a fuck yes RECLAMATION of their land!! Much much here, but I will leave it. I get insane with my drive to serve these people.- So much beauty and talent here! I mean…. The most dialed in talented holy people are our most oppressed Native Americans. The world needs them in these! We intend to attend ceremony (cannnnnottt wait) and just allow them to invite us in.. whatever that looks like for them. It’s their land. We are just honored to be on it.. honestly! Much more here. Service here feels first order! My prayer is Bryan feels as strong of a heart pull to serve these people. If not, I’ll do it on my own. That’s how strong my prayer is.. I watch YouTube videos on the impoverished Lakota and Sioux and the fire keeps building! Let’s do this.
Sorry I rambled! Lol. I love my new life with Bryan in Chicago! I’ve been packed to move (really just me.. no big stuff- minimalist I am) for months. Little Uhaul pod rented many times and cancelled hoping he’d call. Next one up is for 11/18 arrival .. I only have a couple little things (personal small bins).. ha! But easy and dialed in.. I send that out for a Dec arrival in Chicago Uhaul location for storage until I get there and they deliver. I plan on shipping my 4Runner (easy easy).. and packing my clothes in a couple suitcases.. checking them on my United Flight over! done! No furniture (I consign mine)use money for this. Budget easy. Resources are a bit scare for me, but that’s all the past.- we are multi billionaires in our current reality so I’m just rolling with my HS guidance on this! All green there 😉. I’m going with the flow. Not fussy to start.- I just look forward to making us a home.- Beautiful with whatever he has already. Plus we are master manifestors! Egypt style. I already have a joint divine housewarming gift that will knock his socks off! Other dimensions stuff. Did you know LV makes little tables with the logo on front? Cabinet vintage gorgeous? Me either!
