Unfortunately as he got older his great voice matured and he got depressed and of course smoking and drugging didn't help, Personally I think he should have stayed with the "The Teenagers" and matured with them.

Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers they are and always will be icon. Why do fools fall in love Rock the World and other songs to. but The company stole There songs and wanted the Teenagers Out of the Way to control Frankie Lymon Just to make Money From Frankie his Solo album did Well in London and other Countries . Frankie Lymon album at the London palladium Was Little Week Here In The State.
In The Album There was songs that was remakes From Other Artists and they had him sing those songs but they was getting a percentage of the songs because you see they had to ask permission to use them and the original writers of these song get the royalties but because they had gotten permission I'm sure they got a check but poor Frankie Lymon was getting pocket money the song goody goody did quite well for them but Frankie didn't get a check
Just pocket money to me that was the reason they push the Teenagers a side because the company new that Herman Santiago and the rest would had catch on to there little game. If They Had A Lawyer away from the music business they would had been a Legit Contract Signing they would had Something you see Frankie Lymon was happy outside but in his heart he suffer pain Because they use his voice Changing as an excuse Because they saw that he was waking up to there game and they didn't want to get caught later down the road Beeing sue they left him in the cold and stole There Songs there will never be a Herman Santiago/ jimmy merchant/Sherman garnes / Joe Negroni and Frankie Lymon Ever They Was The First Singing Group To cross Over. They will always be my Favorite Rock n Roll Singing Group.
