1) One of them is the American country-singer from Texas (and some of the songs listed below are in fact some of his recordings), but this is about
Frankie Miller (born 2 November 1949, in Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland) who is the Scottish rock singer/songwriter, who had moderate success in the 1970s with a gritty voice similar to Rod Stewart or Joe Cocker. Bob Seger has remarked that Miller was one of his favourite singers, in an article published in 1978, in Rolling Stone Magazine.
His 1974 album High Life was written and produced by Allen Toussaint.
He had several lowly placed hits in the UK Singles Chart in the 1970s and 1980s with "Be Good To Yourself" and "Caledonia". However, he reached his highest ever position of number six on the 14 October 1978 with a song entitled "Darlin'.
He diversified into acting and, in 1979, starred in Peter McDougall's TV film Just a Boy's Game to critical acclaim.
As a songwriter Miller was highly successful. His songs have been covered by the likes of The Eagles, Rod Stewart, The Bellamy Brothers, Kim Carnes, Waylon Jennings, Bob Seger, Bonnie Tyler,Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Joe Walsh and many other prolific atistes. He is also referenced by the Counting Crows in the title of one of the tracks on their 2002 Hard Candy album.
Miller suffered a massive brain haemorrhage in New York on 25 August 1994, which led to a five-month coma. He has since been in rehabilitation, re-learning how to walk and talk.
2) Texan Frankie Miller had two top ten country hits in 1959: the stark, distinctive "Black Land Farmer" and the more typical honky tonk "Family Man." The former even crossed over slightly, but Miller very quickly faded from the charts.

but they don't know what I am
People say that I stand apart
but they just don't understand
Every night when the darkness falls
I'll be there at your beck and call
I'm a fool for you, baby
People say I'm a man of means
but my pants are full of holes
People say I'm a holy child
but I'm rich down to my soul
All I need is you close beside me
All I need is to satisfy you
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool right now
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool in love
Every morning when the sun comes up
And all your dreams they slip away
I see your face and I understand
You're the only one, only one can make my day, yeah, oh yeah
Everybody say you ain't no good
but I won't believe it's true, no no
They all say I ought to find someone
but my heart belongs to you
Every night when the darkness falls
I'll be there at your beck and call
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool right now
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool in love
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool right now, right now, right now
I'm a fool for you, baby
Ooh, I'm a fool in love
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool right now
I'm a fool for you, baby
I'm a fool in love
Frankie Miller's song A Fool In Love is a love song that expresses the singer's deep and unbounded love for his partner. Miller sings about how people perceive him, saying that some believe he is fierce and detached, while others believe he is fortunate and holy in spirit. However, the singer reveals that his heart beats fiercely for his lover and that nothing else can replace her. The singer expresses this feeling in the chorus, declaring himself as a "fool" in love.
The opening lines of the song set the tone for the singer's passionate confession. He acknowledges that some believe him to be a lion at heart, but he implies that he is really something else: a man deeply in love. Additionally, the singer admits that people see him as standing out, but they fail to understand why. Throughout the song, Miller creates a picture of a man who knows what he wants, and is willing to do anything to keep it close to him. He goes on to repeat the "I'm a fool for you, baby" line several times, emphasizing the depth and intensity of his feelings.
Overall, "A Fool In Love" is a classic love song that speaks to the need for someone to love and be loved in return. It's an unashamed declaration of passion and desire, and it encapsulates the sentiment felt by many who have ever fallen deeply in love.
