Ms. Rose's music is haunted by the ghosts of 60s girl group, Brill Building, and 80s and 90s noise pop in equal measure. It's a spooky, lovely sound -- Frankie's ethereal yet affectation-free voice swirling in a sea of church-like harmonies over a bed of tambourines, bells, and propulsive drumming. Recalling in spirit such groups as The Aislers Set and Black Tambourine, Frankie's music is both timeless and immediate, both deeply personal and completely universal.
Pitchfork cited her song "Where Do You Run To?" as one of the best of 2008, and now with much anticipation The legendary Slumberland Records brings Frankie's debut 7". Recorded at Marlborough Farms Studio with Gary Olson, Kyle Forrester and Crystal Stilts' J.B. Townsend.....
In 2010 she released her debut album as Frankie Rose And The Outs with backing band The Outs. In 2012 she released her follow up, "Interstellar".

He said he had the misery but he got a lot of fun
Baby, yeah now baby
Woo baby, some fun tonight
I saw Uncle John with Long Tall Sally
He saw Aunt Mary comin' and he ducked back in the alley
Oh, baby, yeah now baby
Well Long Tall Sally's built pretty sweet
She got everything that Uncle John need
Baby, yeah now baby
Woo baby, some fun tonight
Well, we're gonna have some fun tonight
Have some fun tonight
Everything's all right
Have some fun tonight
Have some fun
Yeah, yeah, yeah
We're gonna have some fun tonight
Have some fun tonight
Everything's all right
Have some fun tonight
Yeah, we'll have some fun
Some fun tonight
The lyrics of Long Tall Sally by Frankie Rose & The Imperials talk about Uncle John and his affair with a woman named Long Tall Sally. The singer plans to tell Aunt Mary about Uncle John, who claims to be miserable but is having a lot of fun. The chorus repeats the phrase "some fun tonight" as if the singer is excited about the upcoming events. The second verse describes how the singer spotted Uncle John with Long Tall Sally and how Uncle John avoided Aunt Mary by ducking back into the alley. The third verse continues to compliment Long Tall Sally, implying that she has everything Uncle John needs. The song concludes with a repetition of the chorus and a promise of having fun tonight.
The lyrics of "Long Tall Sally" were written by Robert "Bumps" Blackwell, Enotris Johnson, and Little Richard. Little Richard recorded the song in 1956, and it became a breakout hit, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has been covered by various artists over the years and has become a rock and roll classic. The song's lyrics have been interpreted in different ways. Some people believe the song is about a prostitute, while others think that Long Tall Sally is just a tall woman. Nevertheless, the song's upbeat and exciting melody has made it a favorite among rock and roll fans for decades.
