If I Were Sorry
Frans Lyrics

Rehearsing my pretty please
Climb the highest mountain
If I were sorry
Shout it from the top
Swim under water until my lungs exploded
Walk into the fire
I'd run a thousand miles
Wouldn't stop until I dropped
Wouldn't take a break to breathe until I got close enough
Then I'd do it all again
If I really had the chance
But I know deep inside for you it's just another, dance
If I were sorry
I'd give you all the glory
If I were sorry
If I were sorry
It would be a different story
If I were sorry
If I were sorry oh
I'd hold my breath 'til my face turned blue
I'd rob a bank and the post office too
Swim across the ocean
If I were sorry
I'd take a vow of silence
I wouldn't say a single word
Until you really heard
If I were sorry
I'd run a thousand miles
Wouldn't stop until I dropped
Wouldn't take a break to breathe until I, I got close enough
If I were sorry
I'd give you all the glory
If I were sorry
If I were sorry
It would be a different story
If I were sorry oh
Now did you ever realize
That your mistake had a prize
Oh you threw it all away
'Cause you're the devil in disguise
Now would you ever realize
The consequences of your lies
And would you save the falling tear or act as if
There's nothing there
If I were sorry
(If I were sorry)
If I were sorry
(If I were sorry)
If I were sorry
I'd take a vow of silence
I wouldn't say a single word
(If I were sorry)
If I were sorry
I'd be on my hands and knees
Begging pretty please
If I were sorry
But I'm not sorry, no
Frans's song "If I Were Sorry" is a song about remorse and the things that the singer would do to make amends for a mistake he made. The chorus of the song, "If I were sorry, I'd give you all the glory / If I were sorry, it would be a different story," speaks to the idea that the singer wishes he could make things right, but ultimately, it's too late.
The first verse of the song, "I'd crawl thru the desert on my hands and knees / Rehearsing my pretty please / Climb the highest mountain / If I were sorry," shows the extremes that the singer would go to in order to try to make things right. The repetition of "if I were sorry" throughout the song reinforces the idea that the singer is not sorry, but wishes he could be.
The second verse of the song, "I'd hold my breath 'til my face turned blue / I'd rob a bank and the post office too / Swim across the ocean / If I were sorry," continues with the idea of extreme actions that the singer would take to show how sorry he is. The line "I'd take a vow of silence / I wouldn't say a single word / Until you really heard" speaks to the idea that the singer wants to make sure the person he wronged understands just how sorry he is.
Line by Line Meaning
I'd crawl thru the desert on my hands and knees
I would go to extreme lengths to make amends
Rehearsing my pretty please
I would prepare what I would say to you in a sincere apology
Climb the highest mountain
I would overcome any obstacles in order to make things right
If I were sorry
If I acknowledged my wrongs
Shout it from the top
I would let the whole world know of my regrets
Swim under water until my lungs exploded
I would risk my own life to show how sorry I truly am
Walk into the fire
I would endure any pain or hardship in order to show my remorse
I'd run a thousand miles
I would go to great lengths to make things right
Wouldn't stop until I dropped
I would keep going no matter what, until I make amends
Wouldn't take a break to breathe until I got close enough
I would concentrate all of my efforts towards getting close to you and apologizing
Then I'd do it all again
I would keep trying to make things right, even if I failed the first time
If I really had the chance
If I had the opportunity to make amends
But I know deep inside for you it's just another, dance
I know that for you, my apologies would be insincere and meaningless
I'd give you all the glory
I would do anything to make you happy and content
It would be a different story
Things would be better, if I was truly sorry
I'd hold my breath 'til my face turned blue
I would show how desperate I am to make amends
I'd rob a bank and the post office too
I would do whatever it takes, even if it goes against the law
Swim across the ocean
I would cross any boundaries to apologize to you
I'd take a vow of silence
I would remain quiet until I make you hear me out
I wouldn't say a single word
I would show how truly sorry I am, by actions rather than words
Until you really heard
Until you listen to my apology with intent and not brush it off like the previous times
Now did you ever realize
Have you ever been aware of your mistakes' impact on me?
That your mistake had a prize
The cost of your misdeeds impacted me greatly
Oh you threw it all away
You cast aside what we had
'Cause you're the devil in disguise
Your actions had nefarious intent
The consequences of your lies
The repercussions of your deception
And would you save the falling tear or act as if
Would you show any remorse for your actions?
There's nothing there
You show no evidence of care or apologetic sentiment
I'd be on my hands and knees
I would be desperate for your forgiveness
Begging pretty please
Pleading for your forgiveness in a forthcoming and unrestrained way.
But I'm not sorry, no
I'm unapologetic and lack remorse

To all who believe that lie, which says, Masons have no power:
That dear soul is a clear lie, they still busy doing whatever they are doing (biblically deceiving mankind) and still they have the same if not even more power.
The masons haven+t gone nowhere, their club just in the late 20th century and early 21st century, exploded, meaning went bigger by many souls who became the sell outs. That`s the only reason we have TV s in our homes and the entertainments, through music , movies, sports.
If, as you seem to believe, masons power has gone down the drain, then our so loved TVs won´t show of any kind of picture. It then will be just a pointless box. There be then no daily news.
And there WON´T be then any kind of money in use.
Yep, that`s the picture i will get if the masons power have truly gone down the train.
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Without the masons nor the death club of freemasonry, there be not a single soul who`s sell out nor will there be any reason nor a chance to become one.
SOULS, SEARCH: BIBLE + FREEMASONRY.
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
And remember souls:
This world was never what we thought it was, nor it will never be what we wish it be.
