My Darling Bullet
Freakangel Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Do you wanna die (die, die)
Do you wanna die (die, die)

I don't believe in god
As you believe in me
Our love was like a knife
It was hurting me
I've said enough of words
You've shed enough of tears
And this gun you see
Will make my mind go free

Release me
Let me go
Release me
Let me go - go - go

I've loved enough now it's killing me
It's time to stop, it's time to see
I hope this gun'll put my soul to peace
I've lost this war, darling bullet…

I've loved enough now it's killing me
It's time to stop, it's time to see
I hope this gun'll put my soul to peace
I've lost this war, darling bullet…
Kiss me please

Do you wanna die (die, die)
Do you wanna die (die, die)

You were telling lies
I believed were true
Obsession through your life
No one has cried for you
I know that love is over
No forgiveness now
One bullet in the barrel
Who's the winner now?

Release me
Let me go
Release me
Let me go - go - go

I've loved enough now it's killing me
It's time to stop, it's time to see
I hope this gun'll put my soul to peace
I've lost this war, darling bullet…

I've loved enough now it's killing me
It's time to stop, it's time to see
I hope this gun'll put my soul to peace
I've lost this war, darling bullet…
Kiss me please

I've loved enough now it's killing me
It's time to stop, it's time to see
I hope this gun'll put my soul to peace
I've lost this war, darling bullet…

Do you wanna die
Do you wanna die

Kiss me please

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Freakangel's song My Darling Bullet describe a desperate individual contemplating suicide as a means of ending the pain caused by a failed relationship. The opening lines ask the poignant question, "Do you wanna die?" which is repeated throughout the song. The singer has lost faith in God, and the reference to the other person believing in them adds to this sense of isolation and abandonment.

The relationship is described as being like a knife, causing pain and hurt for the singer. They have "loved enough now it's killing" them and hope that the gun they hold will "put their soul to peace." Despite the overwhelming sadness, the singer seems to find some comfort in kissing their partner one last time before taking their own life.

The song is a powerful exploration of the pain, isolation, and hopelessness that can come with the end of a relationship, and the lyrics are delivered with emotion and intensity.

At the time this song was released I thought this will bring a new era to the scene. I thought many other artist will experiment with different type of vocals and introduce new dynamic elements like this, but nothing happened. Apart from a very few songs and projects the scene still stuck in like 2008, still the same beats, same lyrics, synth lines, presets, sound samples. I never thought in 2020 this song will be still unrivalled. This quality of songwriting should have become a standard long ago.

@@FreakangelTVIt's seriously so far beyond penultimate that ♾️ had to invert to create a string of 1s recurring across the multitude universes vieing for UberMensch Sonic Devestation due to the impossibility of such synchronism occurring in the multiverses ,between places and forgotten realms of scintillating gossamer crennelations crennelations...
