The band released two albums: "Drive Thru Booty" in 1995 and "More Of Everything For Everybody" in 1996. The debut album features the hit single "Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out". "Song #6" from the band's follow-up album was featured in the critically-acclaimed 2004 movie Code 46.
The band broke-up after exhausting touring and Norman Cook thought he'd make a go of his little side project Fatboy Slim. Some of the tracks for the rumoured follow-up to "More of Every..." were re-worked for the first album from the solo project "Ashley Slater's Big Lounge".

Some people been driving to fast
Some people still having a gas
But if there's one thing you gotta concede
You gotta know who's driving your car
You get to fifth gear with your foot on the floor
Or else you're starring in "a cruise too far"
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow now mama
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow become a woman
Some people been wasting their time
Some people expanding their minds
But if you've known love like the jokers before
Then you're likely to be home on the range
No more the cowboy gottsa flaunt his wares
He's been grazing on a different plain
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow now mama
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow become a woman
Well, it's easy to see why there's a thousands of people
Are regularly turning it out
And it's easy to find when you mess with your mind
That you've gone beyond a reasonable doubt, yeah
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow now mama
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow become a woman
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow now mama
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow become a woman
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow now mama
Turn on, tune in, and cop out
Let it flow become a woman
The lyrics to Freakpower's song "Turn On Tune In Cop Out" reference an era of counterculture in the 1960s and 70s when people experimented with drugs and sought new ways of thinking and living. The song urges listeners to "turn on" to experiences beyond their regular lives, "tune in" to their inner selves and the world around them, and "cop out" of societal norms and expectations.
The first two verses seem to contrast those who are living fast and recklessly with those who are expanding their minds and seeking deeper connections. The chorus encouragingly repeats the phrase "let it flow now mama," suggesting that listeners should go with the flow and embrace their true selves. The third verse references the idea that drug use leads to a higher level of consciousness and the recognition of new possibilities. The song ends with a reiteration of the chorus, encouraging listeners to embrace their newfound perspective and let go of societal constraints.
Overall, the lyrics to "Turn On Tune In Cop Out" celebrate the exploration of unconventional ideas and the rejection of societal norms in search of a more fulfilling way of life.
