Ensueno
Freddie Mercury Montserrat Caballé Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

En mi sueno te vi
Tu luz llegaba de tan lejos

Vibra en ti

Suavemente me llevaba a ti

Tu voz dulcemente
Me decia "Ven"
"Ven junto a mi"

Saber que mi sueno no esta solo
Alienta en ti
Tu y yo cantados los dos

Yo sonaba en ser tu mismo mar, tu mar,
Es puente de union
De nuestras almas

Vuelan, nos llaman

Al son de la eternidad
Aaaahaahahahaa

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Ensueño" by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé are in Spanish, and they describe a dream where the singer sees the person they love. In the dream, the light of the person reaches them from far away, and they are drawn to them. The person's voice invites them to come closer, saying "Come with me." The singer is comforted by the fact that their dream is not alone, and that the person they love is there with them.

The dream is described as a bridge between the two souls, with the singer dreaming of being the same sea as the person they love. The lyrics suggest that their souls are meant to be together, and that the dream is a manifestation of their eternal bond. The song ends with the two souls flying towards eternity, guided by the sound of their love.

Overall, the lyrics of "Ensueño" are poetic and romantic, describing the deep connection that two people can share. The dream is a metaphor for the strength of their love and the inevitability of their union.

Good Lord! Freddie's natural voice was absolutely gorgeous 😱. Beautiful song.

@crazyorganist1609

It is. absolutely beautiful he's in the baritone range here

@kevinfloyd808

And made even more amazing if you listen to exercise in free love and hear him do Montserrat’s parts nearly as clear and pure as she can.

@ben1ben

Freddie is actually an High Baritone. He is between Baritone and Tenor. I can tell that because I'm actually a Baritone and not even Fully Grown.

@ZENOBlAmusic

@@crazyorganist1609 This not is baritone range it is from C3 - A4.

@thechangeofyes8179

This doesn’t necessarily count as the “Baritone range” considering he barely touches it. The lowest note I can hear is probably a D3 maybe C3, I’m not sure. If you want a real baritone range go check out “Flick Of The Wrist” where he sings in the baritone range! I’m pretty sure that’s the right song!

Freddie became not only a rock legend but a legend in the Opera world as well. He may not have been on the same level as Luciano Pavarotti in 1989 but there is no denying that he had the talent to become a highly regarded Opera singer if he'd had the chance. He had so much more music in him but i guess the heavens needed another angelic voice. I know that Freddie and Montserrat are together serenading the heavens.

@Hollylivengood

Damn it you had to say that! I was thinking that when they were singing "we'll be together again." What voices.

@joribremer5260

Yeah I think he would do a lot more collabs with Montsy (as he would call her ) , or

@_lucas_rocker_3083

E um dia quero estar lá também para ouvi-los 🥺❤
